TSCLT 8.0: Jesus Hates A Pussy

I learned a trick from my father re. breaking in boots. He'd put them on, lace'em up tight, fill the bathtub with warm water and go sit on the edge of the tub and soak the boots for 20 min. or so. Then he'd wear them around the house until they dried out. After that he'd start soaking them in Neets Foot Oil. By the next day they were form fitted.

I've heard of that.
I worked in a shoe store as a teen
and we had several specialized tools to soften up boots/shoes.

Home/satellite. Grazing in. Can't really decide what to eat.

Got our stuff done today, including the water heater. Haven't seen one develop a short in it in a couple of weeks, but this one sure seemed to have. It had made hotness when I last saw it.

Still no word on the bike parts. Did hear word on my sleep thingie. He had a bad insurance number. That's because they gave you the wrong fucking number, and they have the new one. I ain't a-fixin' it.

Wat, why are you so mean????

I can cross-post too!

You can always tell when Rob is feeling picked on. He lashes out with his trademark bigotry.

Speaking of "picked on", I saw you bravely trying to succor WelfareBot today, he was having quite a hissy fit when Dixon Carter Lee mocked him for not knowing the difference between "patriotism" and "nationalism".

Side note: time to up your game, shorty. WelfareBot has 68 shitpists today, compared to your paltry 54. You're not gonna surrender your shitpisting crown without a fight, are you?

Heard that tip from a retired rodeo cowboy. Sounds like a good way to break in your feet..with blisters.

I did the same thing, only outdoors in a mud puddle. Then I'd wear them around the house until they dried out.
That really pissed off my wife.
My first wife.

Read an AP story in the local metro daily today about folks in Virginia who feel like state government is finally listening to them all these years after Virginia Tech.
The people in question are related to a couple of the victims, and they've been lobbying to put the hammer down on the 2nd Amendment, according to the story. This year, with the Democrats and charge and with a governor who wears Klan robes and/or blackface and who is willing to killing live aborted babies, well - changes are coming.
Nice long story complete with a big picture.
The only thing missing from the story was an explanation of how any of these new laws would have made one bit of difference, of how they would have saved one life.

But, but you have to DO SOMETHING!

Personally, I would have "done" a constitutional carry bill and sensibly prohibited the tragically misnomer "gun-free zones," but I am a pragmatist.

Solved two problems with one pair of new boots. ^5 :D

Good morning. Happy range day Wed. Cold out there, damn cold. But I shall endeavor to persevere. :)

Good morning.
Went to bed early to read.
Slept for a few hours; woke up.
Read some more and went to sleep.

Felt good.

Happy payday Wednesday!!! Praises to Allah for all of his manifold blessings and great mercies!!!

Looks like it's warm and foggy out there. We get rain tonight. The forecast is all but identical for here and there.

Swear to Allah, my crocs fit like I've owned them for years, right outta the box. The ostriches did, too.

Meanwhile, coffee . . . .

Hmmmmm, as I prepare to don my thinsulate boots I notice that any leather is mostly there to reinforce stress points. Fortunately they fit like a glove out of the box.
