i swear you guys like pumping this thing up right to the line just abandon it so you can have something to complain about when some prick you all have ignore takes the "crown." silly fuckers.

It is nice and light.

The oldest place in Tempe (nee Hayden's Ferry) is the several times expanded Inn that Charkes Hayden had and later got bought by (I think an Italian immigrant) and turned into Monti's La Casa Vieja

They used to serve focaccia bread with the meal which they called Roman bread. It was brushed with olive oil and rosemary and they also use the same treatment on their steaks. That's when I first even became acquainted with rosemary

Unfortunately the land underneath the thing became worth tens of millions of dollars so now they're going to build some monstrosity up and around and possibly over it but the restaurant itself is gone.

The owners made enough money that they really didn't have any interest in continuing being struggling restaurateurs. They were in business for more than 60 years. Because of a fluke in the telephone exchange my grandpa used to get calls And would cheerfully accept reservations. The joke was Montys never did have a reservation system. It was strictly first come first.

I think I'm going to go grill ne s steak. Somebody let me know when I need to pop up and help Lance take the thread.

I had dried rosemary but that's just not the same so I decided to go get some fresh Rosemary. The local Mercado probably wouldn't carry it so I headed towards Walmart and then remembered there's a Sprouts near there.

They have fresh Rosemary that by the door they had rosemary plant. I've never had any success keeping a rosemary plant alive that I thought I'd give it another shot.

Of course there's a nice long train blocking my return, so I'm gorging on blackberries while I wait.

The old Elk's lodge that was the site of my wedding reception is now a brew pub. So, basically the same place, with better food and drink and no membership requirements.

disney+ still has some work to do apparently.

muy frustrating. well, un poco frustrante, but my point stands.

I remembered the fresh dill and chives for my nuked potato, but I forgot the sour cream.

I'm getting towards Biden-level forgetfulness. I parked my car Sunday night. 48 hours unlocked, glove-box hanging open, wallet in plain view on the glovebox door. I have good neighbors.

This deserves it's own poll. Favorite cut of steak.
I'm in the ribeye posse.

Rare .moment of concurrence.

Had ribeye tonight. Generally going to be my go-to at a restaurant. If I'm just broiling something at home though, I have to admit I really enjoy a cheap chuck steak especially a fatty, 7 bone chuck steak.

Nice that that someone went on enough to make you lose count.

Buildings will always leak.
He tends to be good that way. :)

Way to step on the punchline, Captain Obvious.

If Noor is allergic to RABBIT why would I suggest a dish that contained ACTUAL rabbit as a hypoallergenic ALTERNATIVE?: confused:

Smh. Good alternative!

I eat lamb a lot. It’s the easiest thing to eat when I am flaring or having reactions, it’s always safe. Plus it’s tasty! I usually have Australian lamb chops. I cook up a bunch of them from Costco. Eat a cop and freeze the rest for quick meals later.

At Sprouts, I looked for Bison, just for future reference; no luck. I was tempted by some lamb blade chops at only $6/lbs, but I had already thawed out the ribeye.

I repotted my rosemary in a slightly bigger terracotta pot. Couldn't find the pot that I just KNEW I had around. After I got done potting, I realized right in front of me is the pot. I have been using it as my catch-all for wallet, keys, coins, and pocket litter for months. I just forgot it was a pot. It's just my catchall.
