Apparently starving Venezuelans merely need to step out their doors into the street and enjoy the bounty that is the Venezuelan street-food scene!

The zoo is missing a zebra. Taco Tuesday is coming!

This is a thread for them to showcase current streetfood delights they must have from their Venezuelan compadres on Insta!

Show me where they're not selling food in the street. Back up your and bot's claims.

Points and laughs.^

Somehow, thanks to "socialism," arepas have totally disappeared from the streets of Venezuela and the Venezuelans' diets. After thousands of years since the discovery of maize.

Just think of what will happen if we implement socialism here.

Pizza. GONE.

Hot dogs. GONE.

Hamburgers. GONE.

those precious American food staples all of us ate since getting weaned off our mothers' titties will be wiped off the map and we'll have to...to...eat RICE. Like those Communist Socalist Asian folk do in China, Korea and Taiwan.

I don't want America to be like Taiwan. Do you want America to be like Taiwan?

Decent effort at argumentum ad absurdum but I feel you're just phoning it in with the one gif.

Welllll, that will take a bit to 'splain.

I dunno about all this neo-Marxism, but this is a Venezuelan concept I'd gladly support!

fucking arepas, meng. Socialism is a beautiful thing, yo! :D

Odd, I just heard that, too! Funny how that's going around! :D

Must be nice to be able to buy the ingredients to make all that.

Unlike, say, most Venezuelans.

Literally one of the most simplest, cheapest and accessible meals ever, one that has been in Venezuelan and other surrounding regional cultures for millennia. They sell them on the fucking street. So of course they've been making this stuff on a daily basis far longer than your family tree has been around, but I forget American-born schmuckflakes like you were raised thinking Burger King and Jack-In-The-Box fast food chains were legitimate food sources.

I applaud you and your team's collective laziness of thought in this regard, if only because it's the gas that's keeping this wonderful thread floating at the top. Please continue! :D

They still sell them in the streets and it's still one of the cheapest meals. See? I'm also an expert on Venezuela!

Back up your Venezuela claims and then we'll talk. Maybe.

Venezuela has been having a food/energy/housing crisis for going on a few years now since adopting "progressive" economics.

If you have trouble finding stuff pre march 2019 that's because they are under a very tight media blackout. Just like the Soviets, Chinese, N. Koreans, Cubans and other progressive nations when they had big problems with millions of hungry people.

Oh I'm sure nothing bad is happening!!! It's for their own good. :D

That wasn't the topic. Show me specifically where they don't sell that food on the street. Everyone knows there's a shortage there, son.

So, why dont they run out and nosh on street food?

Cake? Surely among all of these street vendors someone sells cake, right? Let them eat cake!

Also...you should literally look up the definition of literally.

You act like there's no food at all in the country. That's simply not true.

TLDR version.

AutoDelux and Zumi seem to think there is lots of capitalist selling a bounty of amazing street food, in Venezuela.

Where the government has taken control over the production and distribution of food....and capitalist pigs get beaten by the cops and shipped off to some dark jungle gulag then went into a media blackout as soon as reports of eating street rats, trash and cannibalism started to surface.

Just like Soviet Russia, N. Korea, Cuba, China and every other nation that's gone down the dark road of totalitarian state control over the food supply.

They don't seem to realize that as a socialist nation things like selling delicious food on the streets from a cart/truck, isn't actually a thing....because that's horrible oppressive capitalism, something they hate, but enjoy the benefits of regularly.

"Shortages in Venezuela of regulated food staples and basic necessities have been widespread following the enactment of price controls and other policies under the government of Hugo Chávez[4][5] and exacerbated by the policy of withholding United States dollars from importers under the government of Nicolás Maduro.[6] The severity of the shortages has led to the largest refugee crisis ever recorded in the Americas.[7]

Sounds like lots of street food is being sold there!!!

Meanwhile back in the real world:
================================================

I wonder what the death toll will be when they finally can't take anymore "progress".

32 million folks...10% is a conservative death toll when considering the averages of other nations who got so progressive food became a human right.

That makes for 3.2 million dead, as the years of media blackouts go on I bet they get closer to 20% though.

No big deal!!! Progress is worth it.....it's always been worth it.

But there's still plenty of arepas to go around, right? Right??

Zumi assured us that: "Literally one of the most simplest, cheapest and accessible meals ever, one that has been in Venezuelan and other surrounding regional cultures for millennia. They sell them on the fucking street."

I mean, he could have literally used "literally" if these arepas were merely figurative, could he?

I mean these tasty treats aren't merely the simplest, they are so far beyond simple they are the "most simplest" to put it as simplistically as possible

Whoops!

Apparently there is some kind of misunderstanding:

You're really tedious. No one said anything about "sales". You just can't ever back your shit up and now you're dying on the vine.

I cavalierly assumed that when you said, "They still sell them in the streets and it's still one of the cheapest meals" you were talking about "sales" of street food.

Is it your assertion now that this delicious, abundant street food is not "sold" but simply made available to the workers in Venezuela's worker's paradise?

Does anyone besides Zumi have a tasty favorite currently tempting appetites on the streets of Venezuela.

I never promised you a rose garden.

Garbage can fire-roasted cockroaches are going for $1,000USD a leg.

Speaking of dumpster fires. . .

. . .have you seen coati's desperate clinging to the failed impeachment effort as a "win?"

¡Sad!
