I have a story with three parts. Do I upload it as three separate uploads? And if so, is there some way that I link them together? When I've seen stories with chapters the related chapters always show up as suggestions. Do I do something to make that happen or does it just work out behind the scenes with the admins?

I was interested in doing this myself, and NO WHERE does it say how to do this! (don't feel bad)

If I remember what someone in a forum thread here told me, submit it as a singular/regular story, then put in the "Note to Admin (optional, not published)" box on your writer's page, post something like "part one of a three part story, titled: The Wicked Ways of Wanda" " Subsequently, post "part 2" and "part 3" in the same dialogue box, when submitting those stories.
I believe (someone who has done this, correct me if I'm wrong), you can have a different "story title" opposed to the "chapter title" e.g.:
The Wicked Ways of Wanda (a three chapter story):
Wanda Whips Wall Street
Wanda Makes Walt (Disney) Wriggle
Wanda Wrangles Ranchers

edit: if I didn't express it well enough, Yes, you would upload each part separately.

The joining together is done behind the scenes. Make sure the titles are the same, or at least have the first few words the same, and put a Note to the Editor with the second and following stories. If you use Chapters, start with 01, or the sequencing will go wrong at Chapter 10.

And yes, three separate submissions.

Okay, so same title for each chapter/part, but the series title doesn't have to be the same? I think I saw one series that had a different title to the chapters.

OP, in case you missed it chapters or parts (can be abbreviated to "Ch." or "Pt.") should be numbered 01, 02, 03... and that can follow the title (which doesn't need to say "Pt. 00" which makes me think the series title can be different (just saying).

So, using the previous example, it would look something like this:
The Wicked Ways of Wanda: three part series
The Wicked Ways of Wanda Pt. 01
The Wicked Ways of Wanda Pt. 02
The Wicked Ways of Wanda Pt. 03

To the best of my knowledge, the main story title must be identical for all parts/chapters.This is what ties them together. I've never seen anywhere that they could be different. The way you wrote it above is correct.

EDIT TO ADD: Yes, load each "chapter or part" as an individual story. Same Title, same note to admin. You can change the short story description if you want.

For what it's worth, I like to get the entire story finished (it helps to avoid dead end stories, etc.). Then, upload them all one after the other on the same day. The web site will dole them out automatically every couple/few days.)

For stories to be linked together, the leading title needs to be the same, and Chapters 01 etc... are used to build the links.

For stories to be grouped together, which is something different, you have to pay attention to the alphabetical sequencing in the titles:

The Floating World - Part 01
The Floating World - Part 02
The Floating World - Part 03

will come before The Floating World - Queen for a day, but after The Floating World - A Beautiful Boy.

The first three would be grouped together, the latter two would be listed alphabetically.

True, and good point to clarify.
