Ok, I’m a couple days early on this. Does anyone think she survives a distant 3’d or 4th place finish in her neighboring state of New Hampshire? The lady is batshit crazy. Quid Pro Joe can cling to hope for redemption on Super Tuesday because he’s still got strong support among black voters, but people of color are put off by Dizzy Lizzy’s phony persona.

Don't confuse what you want to happen with what actually is happening. Especially when it comes to what voters of color think. Your very screen name makes it all too clear how poorly qualified you are to read their minds.

I think Warren was doomed when she pretty much jacked Sanders entire platform of free everything, and pretending to be progressive.

When Obama warned of candidates going to far left she was the one I felt that comment most pertained to. At one point in the I think the second debate the woman used the word racist or racism 17 times in thirty + seconds.

Warren ran to appeal to the vocal, and low percentage of actually voting-far left instead of running as herself. Surprised she hung in this long.

Same with Harris, I was interested in what both women had to offer until I realized they were catering to far leftists and not the majority...as in the people who actually vote

Biden was the front runner from the day he announced, suddenly he comes in fourth in Iowa and not projected to do much better in NH. You have to wonder of there were people who actually decided to research his Ukraine scandals and discovered...he did pretty much what Trump did and bailed on him.

If that is the case, another brilliant move by the Democrats, the party that seems as if it literally does not want to win this election:(

She's running for the nomination to challenge the most openly racist president in our history. I don't see what's objectionable about addressing that very pertinent issue.

I’d love Pocahontas to be the nominee! The polls overwhelmingly show she’s way behind in the state she needs to continue her campaign. But I’ll be just as happy with Crazy Bernie, Wall Street Pete, or Dementia Joe. Frankly, the only marginally electable candidate they have left is Amy.

My screen name shows me and Liz are Baby Boomers. Unlike my generational counterpart, I’m comfortable with my heritage and don’t shit up on my resume.

And I'd love for people like you to keep referring to her like that. Warren's biggest problem is sluggish support among voters of color, but having the Republicans refer to her with a slur like that is a sure way to address that issue.

I think your insights are pretty much spot on. I plan to check back in on this thread Wednesday morning.

Look forward to revisiting this on Wednesday morning. I don’t think Warren supporters will be feeling terribly hopeful.

Normally i don't weigh in often on politics threads, but this one has me vaguely interested. I think the Iowa Caucus results say a lot for the state of the democratic party.

I mean i'd argue Butigrieg doing so well is surprising, but not completely unexpected since his politics are relatively unknown without some research. I'd also argue he is benefiting from the phenomena of people "wanting something different" among democrats. Otherwise one of the more establishment candidates would've gotten a high percentage of the vote.

if i had to predict where this was going to go id say it will come down to butigrieg (or another relatively unknown candidate), bernie sanders and joe biden in a solid third slot.

Bernie will finish in New Hampshire #1, with Mayor Pete a close 2nd. Both will exit NH with momentum. Amy will finish 3rd and will be taken more seriously than she has been up till now.

Warren will finish a distant 4th or 5th in a state she should have performed strongly in. It will mark the unofficial end of her campaign. Biden will finish in the basement as well, hanging on for dear life hoping he can bounce back with a strong showing in NC later this month.
