I am into the new Macaroni and Cheese Pizza one of the local pizza places sells.

Yep, Death By Carbs

Ham/Canadian bacon, pineapple and black olives.

Let the hating begin. 😋

Together? I am feeling the Ham/Canadian Bacon and pineapple. I like black olives but I am just not sure about the three together. Hmmm

Pepperoni...lots and lots of it!

I love a good meat lovers pizza too...

Depends on my mood, by and large.

I’m an old-school pizza guy and, while I’ve tried the newer “artisanal” pizzas with toppings like artichoke hearts, cauliflower, etc., I always have a tendency to go back to the basics of a good pizza. Pepperoni, some sausage, diced ham, mushrooms, green peppers and black olives are always a good mix for me. We are pretty blessed in the Louisville, KY area to have some really great, independently owned pizza houses and they’re far better than the big commercial chains.

All the vegetables..

Okay I love the idea of a veggie pizza. However I usually order something else.

For me it is cheese. One of the few toppings that can stand on its own or be paired with most things.

Don't be shy with the anchovies!

Locally, I have never had a bad pie from Marco T's, Moosestooth, Pizza Man, Hearth, Uncle Joe's, Pizza Olympia, Guido's, or Milano's.

red onion and green olives.

yes, i am serious.

I would try that.

I get a slice of Joe's New York Pizza probably at least three times a week when I'm out and about. Depending on the time of night jalapeno and pepperoni is kind of an Easy Choice from a heart burn perspective but worth it. I either get that or the margarita with basil tomato and mozzarella.

If I'm ordering from scratch I'm going to go with pepperoni Italian sausage onion optionally black olives, and green pepper. I like mushrooms but I prefer the canned or bottled to fresh mushrooms in that instance something about just putting dry mushrooms on a pizza doesn't seem to cook them properly there better sauteed.

Cold smoked salmon, garlic and parsley.

Italian sausage and green peppers, sometimes add mushrooms

I'm with Conager on the mushrooms, gotta be sauteed

I also found out recently that fresh spinach on a pie is pretty good, too. And some cilantro just to give it a little herbal brightness.

Used to have a local delicacy around here in Houston: "The Outdoorsman" with Texas venison sausage and candied jalapenos. They took it off the menu though.

I'll go with Italian Sausage and mushrooms.

Green pepper is my favorite and if I can get onions and pepperoni on a thin crust...oh yum!

You're right, now that I consider it. The crust can be substituted, the sauce can be barbeque, the meat can go missing.

BUT if you remove the cheese entirely it's not something I'd eat, or call pizza.
