Kobe Bryant dead

I am also not sure why is is so newsworthy. Yeah sure - it is tragic. He was a young guy. But I mean, he played basketball - right? What else did he do?

When a celebrity dies in an accident at a relatively young age there is usually a public outpouring of grief.

Deplorables are either trying lame attempts at damage control this morning, or doubling down on their awfulness.

All of it smacks of effort. :rose:

It takes a lot of effort to run a Satanic cult-- so difficult to keep track of how all the lies can be reconciled with each other.

Facts: people died.
More facts: some people are more known and in the spotlight and some won't even get a decent post in the obituaries.
It's sad HOW people died and that young lives are gone.

We all make bad choices in life.
Some spend a lifetime trying to repair the damages.
Some don't have the fame nor the money for the public to care.

There are those who bring up negativity about a person to remind us all who we put on pedestals are not perfect.

I can say I lost my family member Saturday. There won't be any outpouring cries of support for her. She was not popular and not in the public eye. As I see how this is a tragedy for Kobe, his daughter and the others on that helicopter, my thoughts are focused on her.

Cool story, bro.

Even in death, we don't garner respect. If certain posts in this very thread isn't evidence of that, then...

Well, certainly not from a board Trumpette if you're black, rich enough to own a helicopter, and when your death marks you enough as an American icon for mainstream TV media to break into regular programing to report. This is just jarring for board Trumpettes.

The first thing I noticed.

The second thing I noticed is that the cartoon sucks.

It comes off as the work of an out-of-touch, old-timey political cartoonist, who has little idea of who Kobe Bryant was. (Plus, the humor is lame.)
