I have been in a Hotwife relationship with my wife but it was some time ago.

I don’t identify as cuckold because I always had full knowledge and was always involved. Sometimes we’d have a threesome and sometimes she go to his place. Other times he would come over and I’d just watch but I was always included even if it was listening to her tell me what happened as we had sex together.

I was never humiliated or denied so I considered myself to be more of a stag than a cuckold.

She hasn’t had any extra marital relationships in the past 8 years and she says she’s not interested anymore but I know there’s always the chance it could happen again if she meets the right person.

There were three guys that she had sex with since we got together. The first was nearly 20 years ago. A security guard that I didn’t know, which lasted about 4 months. The second was one of my best friends and that lasted around three years. The last was another friend that she slept with for just one night.

I’ve always had the fantasy of my girlfriend/wife having sex with other guys and when she made it reality there was a huge range of mixed feelings about it.

I think Feshta touched on the difference pretty well. In general, the main question is; Is the extramarital activity based on consensual male/female sex — or is the husband more of a submissive/wittol/wimp in the relationship? The difference is in the power dynamics to a large extent.

In a hot wife scenario, the husband and the other man are of equal standing. The husband gives his approval, etc.

In a cuck story, much of the plot revolves around him (his humiliation, his doubts, his arousal from his submission, etc.)

In a hot-wife story, the husband can actually be in charge if that's what the author wants to write, etc.

I think the key is in how the author depicts the husband.
