We did have a nice day. A late lunch and a little window shopping to get Ron some exercise for his leg. On our way home, we stopped at a friends business that used to work with Ron. I just marveled at how he lit up talking to this friend we hadn't seen in a while. It was like having my old hubby back for a little while.
Sometimes all we need is a friendly face and good conversation. Getting older can be lonely sometimes.
