The weekly ABC...Themed thread:

Not quite yet. Here are a couple Q words you won't need to look up.

Just call me the queen of quilt couture.
Watch out, Dior and Valentino.
That's f'n awesome! If I ever need a dress for anything, will you make me one?? :rose::heart:
The money shot. Okay, maybe a cheap shot. I hope I made the quarter finals, anyway.

Brilliant! Sexy man, sexy mind!!
*Quickly pops in to say hi from the quilt and have a catch up!
Yay! So good to see you in all your glory on a quilt!

Fantastically they are pointing the way on our lovely Numi!!:rose:

In my country, one pound sterling is known as a Quid. Here's a few quid, to give you the idea:

https://i.imgur.com/nF7oyMp.jpg

They're rather lovely, glinting in the light. They've only recently become that polygonal shape, they used to be round.

And here they are, in a 'reverse hot stone treatment' ;)

Not only did I learn something new about quid I also learned an innovative use for them as well. :)

The picture of the coins is excellent, I don't know if you used a lightbox or not but very well done.

But the picture of you with the coins in place is exquisite. My compliments to the lovely model and her talented photographer. :rose:

A quixotic time spent lazing and reading, drinking cider and moscatto, bundling up and then getting too hot for the many layers to stretch and feel the frigid air of a winter's day.
Beautiful and sensual. Thanks for joining in the fun.

I like the home made Quilts. My gran used to make them from squares about a Quarter the size of these, and also some using 6 sided shapes.
It's probably quite obvious that this one is machine made.

Quite the catwalk Queen in your Quilted creation....is it heavy? go on...let it drop  :heart:xx
My arms are starting to get a bit tired. ;)

Oh thank you!!!! Queen - yes you are!
Quilt - love it....it's soooooo beautiful.
Upcycled from the guest bedroom.

That's brilliant, Angelica, I love it. They'll be signing you up to their design teams ;)
:D

The money shot. Okay, maybe a cheap shot. I hope I made the quarter finals, anyway.
Well done, sexy man!

*Quickly pops in to say hi from the quilt and have a catch up!
Popping up as well, I see.

O, yes! And what Queen it is!
Thanks, lovely.

I bet it fits two at once.
Let's find out. ;)

Much more lucrative than a trail of breadcrumbs.

That's f'n awesome! If I ever need a dress for anything, will you make me one??
Of course. :D

I think you're trying to cash in on this?

Someone suggested quarters to me an I didn't see how that would work. Nice.

Hi Willie. Glad you could make it.

Another "money shot"? LOL. Very nice. Those one quid coins resemble Canadian Toonies, two dollar coins. Maybe for "T"...

The letter Q! Who knew?

Just call me the queen of quilt couture.
Watch out, Dior and Valentino.

Most regal. Love it.

Those are lovely, excellent filtering. I wonder if you might consider posting in the Couple at Play thread some time?

Thank you. I will see him later today. Let's see. (After looking through ABC Lit properly for the first time in a couple of days, I got so turned on had to make a booty call.) Maybe posing for the camera becomes part of the fun...

Mmmm! I'm quids in for that.

O, my! Love the scene you described!
It is not exactly what was happening as my arms are not crossed - my right hand is between my legs and the left one is behind me, holding the remote :) But I like your idea better.

Ha! Ha! My lust optics must have glazed my eyes over and made my thinking wishful. Finish the scene anyway you want. ;)

An arrow drawn from a quiver and laid where I would love to be. The lighting is wonderful and does justice to the model.

Q! Phew!

Okay, last day for "Q". A tough one. NOrmall I suppose "X" would be a more difficult letter, but you wonderful perverts will nail that one, so to speak.

As I said above, someone suggested Quarter (see Wilderness above), and I didn't figure it out. I suppose I could have just copied it, but the banks were closed by then (hard to get a roll of quarters elsewhere). I thought about a Quiver full of arrows, but while I can find my bow and arrows I can't find the quiver. Hmm.

Well, Q is also for Quart.. An ancient measure for certain, one British Imperial Quart; a quarter of an imperial gallon. (One Imperial quart equals 1.2 US quarts or about 1.15 litres).

It's also a Quickie; i had to grab it while I could...

Yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum (for tomorrow as well):

https://i.imgur.com/2cWmgMu.jpg

Hahaha, also "rumpled"; sorry.

That is a whole lot of Q's you got in there and finished with R for next week...well done :D

Going to sneak in before the weekend is over. Today I am mostly going about the day naked and listening to some Queen. :) It is a Sunday, why not?

*edit* For the younger ones among you out there, that is a vinyl record I have in my hand, it is what us oldies listened to back in the day before them modern new fangled CD's and downloads.....and for those of us with older eyes you can read the sleeve notes :D

I thought about R for Rye, but I only have 750ml bottles of rye so it wouldn't work for Quart...Tomorrow.

Queen: Why didn't anyone else think of that? Well played

Excellent photo for A Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy. ;)

GIRL: Mummy, what's a vinyl record?

PRIM MOTHER: [Mother's lips starts quivering.] It was how we had to listen to music back then. Oh no, sweetheart! Have you been talking to your naughty auntie?

GIRL: Ummm! Maybe.

PRIM MOTHER: Oh no! Don't listen to her if she says I was an Eighties' Girl

GIRL: Mother! No! You weren't, were you?

Girls of the 80's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k2PT_lFWoQ Not quite how I remember the 80s, but nostalgia is up for sale.

Missed this. It looks qquite comfy. Snuggling alone?
Are you offering to keep me company? ;)

An excellent way to spend the day.
Vinyl is cool again, by the way. The younger ones are buying LPs these days.

Ha! Excellent! Back in the day I lived on quarts of Old Milwaukee. I was poor and it only cost $1.25. :D

Looking forward to rum and rumpled.

Last time I bought a quart of anything it was Mad Dog 20/20, the poor mans wine or what the winos drank back in the day, haha, good times!!

Thank you for the lovely furry chest along with your Quart!! Fabulous!!!:devil:

Definitely extra points for vinyl.just like Freddie intended.

But, what will I wear while you're ironing? Oh, right.

Debbie Harry. Pat Benetar. Cyndi Lauper, Kim Carnes, Bonnie Tyler, the Go-Goes. Lee Aron (she may have been local). I may need a moment.

I need to get a new turntable. "Dark Side of the Moon" just isn't the same, and Old Neil never released "Journey Through the Past" on CD

ETA: If you need any assistance I'll be right over.

Thx Tali. The fur is just along for the ride.

Naked day with Queen sounds good to me.

R is for Rye and Rumpled (Taken the same time as Q). In this case, Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye. Canadian Whisky is referred to here as "Rye" generically. It does not have to contain a specific amount of rye to be called that(in the US it must be 51%). However, some of the major distillers have discovered that people really like rye-forward whisky.

Thus endeth the lesson.

https://i.imgur.com/t7EasdU.jpg

R is also for Razor, but Shave starts with S, so you'll have to wait...

Not a Rye person myself. Harry’s Razors are becoming more popular over here.

I love your little lessons :) Still a fan of the rumpled fur, so are we going to see you shave for 'S'? How's Harry's treating you??
