Besides some serious ass play, I have occasionally engaged in some scat play to one degree or another. That said, I recognize it as high risk behavior.

Piss play, on the other hand, is generally not considered to be a high risk behavior.

Human urine is typically not hazardous because it's generally sterile when coming from a healthy person. Normally, it contains no living organisms unless the person that produces it has urinary tract or bladder infection. In a healthy person, there is less bacteria in urine than in tap water.

Human feces, on the other hand, can (and not too uncommonly) contain any of dozens of pathogens including bacteria, viruses and parasites. These can include, but are not limited to, the particularly nasty E. coli 0157:H7, Bacterioides spp., Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia, Campylobacter, Aeromonas, Candida, Klebsiella, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba histolytica, viruses including Norovirus and Hepatitis A, as well as intestinal parasites. The human bowel contains many other species of bacteria that are not dangerous within the bowel where they belong, but that are dangerous when ingested.

Additionally, visible blood in feces may indicate the presence of bloodborne pathogens including HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C.

Of course it is. I'd only do it in the context of a committed relationship. Watersports with one's lover are hot. Bodily fluids from strangers are just as nasty to people with the fetish and they are to those who don't have the fetish.
