Hm... I can do both of those things too, in any order :)
I also take decent pictures and known to explain math and physics pretty well.

Sex.

No. Seriously.

In a time that we are not supposed to acknowledge exists, I became fixated on it. It was all I really wanted to do. Everything else was just what I had to do to get to it. And, so, I went at those other things enough to say, "good enough." But, when it came to sex, I couldn't learn enough. Couldn't practice enough. (And, yes, as a matter of fact, I developed workouts to make me better at the aspects I uncovered.)

From time to time I've envied those that had the drive to learn music or medicine, politics or physics, cooking or crockery. Oh, I dabbled in most things that I came across. And, according to what I've been told, have been moderately decent at most things that I cared to try. Slightly better than average, at least. "Holy fuck, how did you-" for a few.

But, whenever I receive compliments about anything else, in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "you should see how I fuck."

However, of course, very few people (comparatively) have.

Although those I've chosen to demonstrate my skills for, that have also given their consent for me to demonstrate, have not only appreciated it but agreed that it is far and away what I'm best at as I play a concerto on the finely tuned instrument of her body, her mind, her heart, and her soul.

But, most people that know me in the off-line world find an inordinate amount of hilarity in my arguments that "I am a lover, not a fighter." With the exceptions of those that have experienced first hand that it is not braggadocio or delusion. But, a simple acknowledgment of where my interests have always been, where I have sunk all of my time and effort that others (perhaps wiser) have placed on... whatever. Curing cancer. Writing a concerto. Painting the Sistine Chapel. Whatever it was that other people chose to devote their time and energies learning to do so well. Those things that if I couldn't see an application for sex, then I just dabbled before wandering off in pursuit of my only serious interest.

***shrug***

And, the thing is, I've lost more than a few lovers, not because I didn't satisfy them, but because they felt they couldn't satisfy me, couldn't "keep up."

However, fortunately for me, I've found a couple that thought (and think) I'm a keeper.
