And by sheer coincidence, the an hour after announcing the diluted articles of impeachment, the House announced that they’re finally moving forward with USMCA. It's none of those. They had to give up on quid pro quo and bribery and have settled on "abuse of power" and obstruction of Congress, not justice, Congress. The latter is just the regular tension between two coequal branches that has been going on for 230 years.
The problem is you picked the wrong issue. You think most Americans are going to go research Ukraine? Most Americans are wondering why are we even giving those corrupt assholes any money to begin with?

From my reading of the document I think congress has a strong case and I agree with Nadler that if it were a criminal case any jury would come up with a guilty verdict within 3 minutes.
However, it is not a criminal matter and it seems to me that congress have accepted that the senate will not convict and they, (congress), hope to be able to use the articles of impeachment as a campaign tool for the election.
Trump will definitely win the election. Democrats will keep their majority in congress and they will make a very strong showing in the senate.
Reality TV is going to a new level over the next 5 years.

The House Democrats have basically embarrassed themselves by not even making a serious case! Their witnesses are a bunch of anti-Trump malcontents who never saw or heard anything directly, except what they were TOLD by others. Perhaps you'd get your guilty verdict if your jury were a bunch of hysterical Trump-haters who admired Antifa and were huge supporters of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - but if they're normal Americans they'd immediately vote to acquit on all charges. Adam Schiff still wants to impeach Trump for Russia collusion, despite the Mueller Report's saying there was no evidence there!

Nadler is a lawyer. He knows that's not true. This is all political theater. You're trying to convict Trump based on subjective intent. In other words, what was in his head based when he made that call and there isn't enough evidence to know what he was thinking at the time. Each side just denies what the other side says. McConnell said he was taking it up next year, not after the "quick" trial was over.

Both the polls and the low television ratings show that these impeachment inquiries have been INCREDIBLY BORING! Adam Schiff promised an exciting show but has completely failed to deliver, and Nancy Pelosi is kicking herself for ever allowing him to run this witchhunt/fiasco!

Furthermore, the JURY in this case (e.g. the U.S. Senate) remains totally UNSYMPATHETIC to Schiff and his clown show. Chief Justice John Roberts will NOT allow an impeachment case built entirely on hearsay evidence and the opinions of Trump-hating academics.

End result: and embarrasing FLOP for the House Democrats as they LOSE this historic impeachment trial, resulting in a backlash that re-elects President Trump and very likely ends the Pelosi speakership, as well! Nancy should NEVER have put her faith & trust in Adam Schiff!

I'm not so sure that Mitch will dismiss it outright. I'm sure he'll take a vote count and may have enough repubs willing to go through the trial phase just for the sake of getting testimony from Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff, Sleepy JOE, Clapper, Brennan and Rosenstein.
