Ok after much denial, I now accept the evidence presented that my go to around the house leggings are in fact worn thin and should be consigned to the rags. At least I have knickers on today, otherwise the kids make snide comments about not needing to see where they came out of.

A couple more warm days here then off to Tokyo and London. I suppose I may need to pack stockings and other finery...

I agree, tear those up and throw them away. Just make sure you are wearing them when you do, and take photos or video so we can enjoy it.

Great point about confidence. Demons are created in people's own minds.. sadly. Nobody else out there really goes around looking at everyone with negativity. People create a negativity in their own minds as we live in a world where some kind of 'idealogical perfection' is forced upon us by magazines and advertising.

More people need to free themselves mentally where possible... and clear their minds and accept that we are all beautiful, just in different ways.

That's my profound statement for the year. I need a lie down now. LOL

It's what it is all about. Knowing what is self restrictions and then thinking abut whether those ideas are valid or not. If you look at all the changes in attitudes over the last few decades you know that not everything is valid, or has been force-fed.

I think they are ok. Perhaps they would not be so noticeable if you did not have underwear. It would just be the same patterning. Unless of course you are not showing the front and they have worn thin or more clingy than in the past.

I am looking forward to seeing you in a few days. I will be busy of course but I hope you enjoy the ceremonies. We shall just have to keep our lives in here secret from the conversations.

Almost slept in today after my 3am wakeup and going back to sleep. Too nice a day though to have to work late into the afternoon so it was hit the shower and get squeaky clean and get on with things. My bum is big with the fisheye lens, should have done the boobs and filled the screen.

Not sure I can get away with just wearing this. Its the sort of day to go bare, but...

The rose out the front poking through the white picket fence on a blue sky day seemed to sum up this Friday.

And lastly, friday lunch turned out to be paella as the restaurant I was heading to decided to have an outside cook amongst all the tables. You couldn't help having some.

And if wind then someone gets an eyeful, which isn't the end of the world if it puts a smile on someone's face for the day.

I think paella is a volume thing to be able to get just right. Kind of like gratin and doria, it just tastes better with a bigger dish.

The lens wasn't twisted in much, its just nice to pretend I might not have all that bum but the effect is bigger when you push back closer to the camera. When I went right back, well there might have been an echo.

The plane the plane. Fantasy Island would not be a bad place to holiday. I wonder what I would ask my week to be? I wonder whether they would be able to do that and still stay on 70's early tv.
Actually that's a good question. Back then, boobs and more complex themes were consigned to the 7:30pm and on tv slots. Unless you were the national broadcaster which put Kenny Everett on at 6:30. But then you find out that there are more conservative regimes that consigned that to really late night on free-to-air broadcast. So maybe what we are casual about over here might not be universal.

I was down on the farm yesterday. Quite cold so if you ever wanted to see me wearing pyjamas this is it. There is really no point, the bottoms never stay on, and sure enough were in the end of the bed this morning. Anyway, wandering around outside while my jeans were in the dryer.

I found a pear on the tree. After yesterdays puffy lips in pants photo, I thought I should prove that even the fruit around here tends towards smooth and clefted.

Back to town to grab the suitcase I packed before so I could catch my plane this afternoon. There was a bit of time to spare so I hopped on the bed and showed him his options. Lucky there are showers in the airport lounge or else I might cause a few curious sniffs to whoever sits alongside.

Yes Hiroko and S. There are usually three ceremonies, often on the same day or over two days, but this was spread over two home towns as well as the Shinto ceremony.

Thank you. I had three days of flimsy but might have to catch up on a few sights later on. Yes, it was a 1000km three day event but so much fun with all the relatives. 5 people over the age of 100!

My plane was delayed last night. I like the 2am flight. 12 hours later and with time zone changes and you pull into Heathrow at 6am with a good nights sleep. But I couldn't be bothered waiting around in an airport, so I changed to the 11am and had a sleep in a hotel. Not too bad really, I get into Heathrow at 3pm, so I can make my evening appointment but will have to stay a bit longer to make up for the three I missed. The day flight isn't bad, you see some nice views of Siberia, but it does tend to give you a bit of jetlag the next day.
I woke up early and kind of rolled around on the bed delaying getting moving. In the end I helped myself to a bubble bath to hydrate the skin before checking in.

I cannot believe this is a typical Japanese Wedding, certainly has the wow factor, and your photos are a delight.

Japanese weddings are generally a three part affair, often on the same day. This one was a moving feast. The Shinto ceremony on one day at a quite important shrine, then the next events at the different hometowns, which is a nice thing if there are extend relatives of advancing ages.
I hope there are a few more photos that can go up.
