Seems to me, a 10% reduction today, leads to 20% tomorrow, to 50% in a decade to total mitigation in 2 decades...then we only have natural causes that are harder to manipulate. But can still be manipulated.
Nope. Every change must be instantaneous. We must all immediately live in mud huts with dung burning stoves. Gradual shifting away from carbon sourced fuels is not an option.
Or even carbon sequestering to recapture most of what we burn. Nope. That will "destroy the environment". As well as wave and tidal power. Hydroeletcric is fine, though. Huge dams are good. Same with nuclear power plants. If ONLY they weren't regulated! They could store all that waste wherever they wanted!
