Hello all, I am a long-time user of the site but first time poster. I will make this quick.
I have only had one partner before, him and I split after 3 years together. I gained lots of experiences with him, and I am a very adventurous young lady, but I am still very shy outside of bed (and in it initially).
I am now moving back to my hometown post break-up, and I have been in contact with a former professor turned friend. He and I were very interested in each other after I finished taking classes with him a few years ago, but at that time I was with my now-ex partner, so my former professor and I had only developed a friendship.
Talking to him since my break up, we have both realized that we had a lot of chemistry together and we were very attracted to each other. I am so excited to see him in a couple of weeks, but very nervous too! Borderline terrified at the idea of being intimate with him. It’s nothing he has done wrong, he has never been aggressive or disrespectful. On the contrary, he is very kind and easy-going.
We will not be sleeping together the first time we see each other to catch up, but I know that is where it is heading. Does anyone have any advice on how I can be less nervous when we do have sex? For what it is worth, I am 24, and he is 52.
If any older men here have experience having sex with women in my age range, I would love to know what went through your head when you were having sex with your partner.
Thank you in advance, be well,
Red
