At Sondland's open hearing testimony from the day before yesterday he made a 45 minute opening statement in which he said "there was a quid pro quo". That statement created the headline in your original post on this subject.

HOWEVER, at the end of his testimony Sondland ADMITTED that he'd been told by Trump that Trump "want[ed] nothing" from Ukraine, and that "there isn't going to be any quid pro quo", AND that he (Sondland) "presumed" that there was.

He was then questioned on why he didn't include this statement in his opening remarks and he responded that he couldn't fit it in. Which made almost everyone in the room roll their eyes.

These are WELL KNOWN AND LINKED FACTS. That you don't know them sort of indicates that you're full of Schiff on this subject.

The recent discussion on this thread is ridiculous. It's obvious no amount of evidence showing that Trump has repeatedly lied and used national resources for his personal gain are going to convince any of his cult followers of anything. This is about loyalty to the cult, not about justice.

Recognize what is going one here. The movement that Trump is leading here is a mass psychosis, one of the first that was facilitated by electronic media. The Republican Senators will acquit him of the impeachment articles. Debating on this porn board about legalities of the impeachment articles is a fool's errand.
