Transgender Day of Remembrance

The Transgender Day of Remembrance, also known as the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, has been observed annually on November 20 as a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia. It is a day to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people.

I want to remember a good friend named Rhonda. She was a great person and is dearly missed by all who loved her. 🥰

Lets remember those that offed themselves too

Many trannies have taken their own lives in a desperate attempt to escape the unnatural reality that they have swaddled themselves in. Any attempt to fight nature results in negativity. I feel sorry for those who have been deformed by social pressure into not knowing what gender they are by nature. On the other hand there are those that really are born with both male and female characteristic. In their case it is not some warped social conditioning that has devastated them, rather, it is a tragic birth defect. In any case displaying hate for people that are physically deformed or mentally deformed is wrong. They need love and help just like anyone else.

I wish I could like a post because this is the kind of thing you really shouldn't respond to without a specific story. With solemn stuff I wish I could just hit a like button.

Yes, we get that you were dropped on your head at birth ... repeatedly. You keep reminding us.

I approve of this message. Not that I matter...but I was searching for the right words...God loves us all

two words: fuck off.

The whole remembrance thing bothers me. How can I remember something or someone I never knew? How do I know they weren't assholes?

She was always there when you needed help.
That's what I heard anyway.

Actually she was. She lived next to my sister when I was a preteen. She was patient and kind. Tolerated all my questions and taught me about make-up. She also made the best oatmeal cookies I have ever had!!! She was very domesticated. Her bf was an office worker and since they couldn't have kids of their own loved when we would come visit and fill us to the gills with junk food. Good memories of great people. 😁

You will be remembered

two words: fuck off.

My but you have a way with words. Is that what you want to be remembered for?
You might be less depressed if you learned to meditate on what people have to say. None of us have it all figured out so why not welcome alternative views rather than be so dismissive. Life is for learning and it is very short. Why not try to learn a few things before you are remembered.

SMH. You speak of meditation and yet your words are filled with hate. Just another hypocrite. That’s how I will remember you. That and arrogant.
Only fools are worried about being remembered by others. The rest of us live so that we have the memories ourselves. 🙄

I would share a flag that my friend made years ago, but it’s too good for this place. :rose:

Thank you for creating this thread, Rae.

Your hate detector must need new batteries. What did I say that you think indicates hate? If you try to warn someone that a tornado is coming is that evidence of hate? I know for a fact that transgender people are emotionally unstable and need help. Pretending that everything is ok when they are on a dangerous and unnatural course is not loving or helpful. If your 'love detector' goes off when you are encouraging a tranny to stay the course then check those batteries on the day you hear they took their life.

But I do like your point about the vanity of being remembered by other people that will also be forgotten soon. That being the case, what is this thread for?

To remember their struggles. To remember those who died trying to be themselves. To not let them be forgotten. The fact that you don’t understand the difference between striving to be remembered and people loving you enough to just do it makes me sad. Your a deep as a puddle. 🙄
