I am not always able to find the time but try to get to it eventually. As with everyone, life's current circumstances dictate when and where. I have a bit of fun in here so you get a fishbowl look at what takes my fancy.

That's the usual rule but there are a few places trying different rules. So long as it equally applies to all sexes then it passes the anti-discrimination law in the constitution.

A rather warm day yesterday, on top of a week of 35C plus days. 105F in the shade and the car said it was a bit hotter out in the sun.

First port of call on the way to the beach was for gelato. One of the kids schoolmates' parents have been buying up dairy farms and downstream uses, so have taken over a fairly successful store and branded it. Its all fresh local milk used. They already moved their speciality milk into most of the successful coffee independents here and in Asia, so it will be an easy gain to push another line.

Order of the day on the beach was minimum as you can get and just keep going in and out of the water. It was not the nude beach just down the road so we all had to keep pants on, but...

The great part of living on the Sunset Coast is the sunset over the ocean and just swimming into the dusk. The ocean temp cools the night air nicely so it gradually gets to 18-20C.

We all sat around and had dinner on the beach after dusk, along with half the city. I left it to the others to put a few things on the bbq and get ready and bribed a couple of others to come across the road for a quick post-swim tipple. Makes me feel like booking a ticket. Is this the visit WA tourism campaign?

They are more likely to involve water if west. But indeed we do have nice sunsets here. The lack of mountains, islands etc just mean bigger horizons.

No declarations of love in here. I was trying to think of a song lyric in reply but my head is in battery recycling economics and PV powered hydrogen electrolysis which is not conducive to songs.
