House Impeachment Hearings

Not vetteman is right, and smarter than you as well.

The article contains the simple truth.

Vindman is the leaker and could be prosecuted.

I happened to be listening to his testimony today on the radio, and he refused to answer questions at the advice of counsel because of his "intelligence" position.

Go figure.

JORDAN: Why didn't you go directly to your superior with your concerns?

VINDMAN: It was a really busy week. Also the lawyer told me not to talk to anyone else.

JORDAN: Yet you talked to your brother, to George Kent, & a CIA person you won't name

Jim Jordan, the world's foremost expert on reporting suspicious things to a superior.

He’s not, he didn’t, and he won’t. But Trump will be impeached.:D

He's the leaker who talked to Ciaramella. He lied under oath when he said he didn't know the whistleblower, they work together. He's disloyal, he told the Ukraine President to ignore the President of the United States. Mark Sandy's testimony on Friday is said to be a game changer and completely blows up the narrative. Wait for it.

Being against whistleblower protections is very un-american.

Again.....it doesn't matter.
Watching this dog and pony show, is like watching a football game you recorded, but you already know who won.

Regardless of evidence, or lack of evidence, the house will vote to impeach.
Right along party lines. Pelosi will threaten any dem naysayers, with DNC funds for 2020, and appointments to cushy committee jobs.
The dems will draft up articles of impeachment, with the description which polls the best....and off to the senate they will go......

And just how do you think that will turn out when it gets to the senate?

meanwhile away from the circus trump has successfully pushed south korea into china's warm, welcoming embrace. that's just fucking great.

This is a cataclysmic face plant for the Democrats and their phony impeachment fiasco.

"have to thank Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee chairman and impeachment maestro. Really, I am grateful."

Impeachment surprise: How Adam Schiff validated my reporting on Ukraine
November 18, 2019John Solomon

While the jury is still out on high crimes and misdemeanors, Schiff has managed to produce during the first few weeks of his impeachment hearings a robust body of evidence and testimony that supports all three of the main tenets of my Ukraine columns.

In fact, his witnesses have done more than anyone to affirm the accuracy of my columns and to debunk the false narrative by a dishonest media and their friends inside the federal bureaucracy that my reporting was somehow false conspiracy theories.

The half dozen seminal columns I published for The Hill on Ukraine were already supported by overwhelming documentation (all embedded in the story) and on-the-record interviews captured on video. They made three salient and simple points:

1. Hunter Biden’s hiring by the Ukrainian gas firm Burisma Holdings, while it was under a corruption investigation, posed the appearance of a conflict of interest for his father. That’s because Vice President Joe Biden oversaw US-Ukraine policy and forced the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor overseeing the case.
2. Ukraine officials had an uneasy relationship with our embassy in Kiev because State Department officials exerted pressure on Ukraine prosecutors to drop certain cases against activists, including one group partly funded by George Soros.
3. There were efforts around Ukraine in 2016 to influence the US election, that included a request from a DNC contractor for dirt on Manafort, an OpEd from Ukraine’s US ambassador slamming Trump and the release of law enforcement evidence by Ukrainian officials that a Ukraine court concluded was an improper interference in the US election.

All three of these points have since been validated by the sworn testimony of Schiff’s witnesses this month, starting with the Bidens.

The Republicans seem upset that Vindman is obstructing their coverup attempts.

They were expecting Volker to say something different too...All of a sudden people are looking at themselves in the mirror and telling the truth. Poor Donald. Poor poor Donald.

This is about it. A true analysis of today's lamestream media.

Analysis: Media's Biden Standard of 'No Evidence' Is a Double Standard

For three years many of journalism’s most prestigious news outlets won acclaim for making and repeating claims President Trump and his team had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. No accusation, from secret meetings in Prague to tales of prostitutes peeing on beds, was deemed unfit to print. When they wanted to signal to readers that they were conveying claims instead of facts, their hedge words of choice – “unverified” or “not yet proved” were favorites – strongly suggested that confirmation was on the way.

Call it the Trump Standard.

Now those same news outfits are observing a new standard of proof, at least when it involves former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who enjoyed a lucrative relationship with a Ukrainian gas company. This new norm demands that, absent definitive proof, assertions must be labeled as “without evidence” or said to be supported by “no evidence.”

Call it the Biden Standard.

We have the transcript of the call. The two witnesses interviewed today affirmed its accuracy.

I assume you mean the memorandum of the phone call presented as a "transcript" that Vindman tried to edit in words for better accuracy and clarity, but they didn't make it in to the official memorandum of the phone call.

What makes Vidman's understanding and recollection of the call somehow more accurate and less influenced by his preconceived biases, especially since he was irritated that Trump and the Ukrainian president went off HIS talking points?

"Call me Lt Col.!!" Vidman and/or the so called whistleblower were likely responsible for releasing previous memorandums of calls between world leaders. That's the whole reason it was being put on the secure server that wasn't except accessible by moles like vidman. He therefore couldn't get to it to adulterated it with HOS narrative. That's what he's pissed about. That, and the fact that he wasn't nearly as important on this call as he felt like he should be.
