I, and I imagine most Americans would prefer he do what he said he was going to do.

Unsurprisingly, you’re fine with it being just another lie.

First; Trump HAS done what he said he'd do. He has kept more of his campaign promises than any other President in modern history. Yet, for some reason all your side of the political spectrum can do is run to the courts to try and get an injunction against his efforts to do more.

Second; show me where the ongoing audit is finished before you announce that Trump has lied about this.

Ahh, c'mon Harpy! Dry your eyes-- here's a Kleenex. You know Trump won't get convicted in the Senate, because Deplorables.

Quit catastrophizing about Hercules and "unlawful" stuff like impeachment proceedings and subpoenas for tax returns.:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss:

You poor soul. What was that old saw - if your brain was converted to gasoline it wouldn't be enough to run an ant's go kart halfway around a BB?

Sounds about right in your case.

It's bizarre the way they've become both the party of Eugene McCarthy seeing a red under every bed and finding what used to be called Mccarthyism acceptable. I think maybe the reason why they're so anti-russian is because they miss the Soviets.

Eugene McCarthy? Do you mean Joe McCarthy? Eugene was a "progressive" senator from MN who ran for the Dem. nomination in 1968.

I’d like to see the evidence supporting this ridiculous statement. I’m sure you can carve out a few hours from your uber busy law practice to provide this.

(So far not one mile of truly NEW wall has been erected.)

Replacing widely spaced poles designed only to inhibit vehicles transiting an area being replaced by an actual wall is not a new wall?

If so, why are the Democrats fighting this construction so hard? If there's no new wall there's no hindrance to the future Democrats sauntering in. Sounds like it is all repairs.

Since when are Democrats opposed to throwing billions of dollars at repairing infrastructure?

I suggest that you learn about things called alibis.

What has that got to do with where the burden of proof lies? There's no obligation for a defendant to put on a case of any description. There's no obligation for any suspect to give any sort of statement. Perhaps you've heard of Miranda warnings? Those don't mean you have to answer questions after your attorney shows up. Those mean what it says you have the right to remain silent. You have the right to a presumption of innocence. You have the right to have the jury specifically instructed that they should not infer anything at all by a defendant's decision to testify to not testify or whether the defendant chooses to put on any defense at all.

Last time I was in court I didn't have to put in a defense at all as the charges were immediately dismissed because the state had failed to meet its burden of proof. In this case specifically because all we had was the officers hearsay testimony about what he had been told by the other motorist, who would actually hit the other party but decided that the fault was not his He was even able to persuade the officer to issue a ticket for an infraction the officer did not observe.

I was prepared to mount a rather vigorous defense but it turned out to be unnecessary seeing as how the judge immediately understood that there was no case because there was no witness.

You must be referring to his progress eliminating the federal debt. That’s going pretty good, right?

Or was it all his tax related promises, like cutting taxes for everyone, repealing the alternative minimum tax, reducing the number of tax brackets, or changing the tax code to allow working parents to deduct the childcare expenses from the income tax?
Oh, it could be where he said individuals would allowed to deduct healthcare insurance premiums from their taxes. He kept those election promises, right?

On the topic of healthcare, how is that repeal and replacement of Obamacare going?
Perhaps he’s too busy with that audit, yes?

Maybe it’s the one he made about balancing the Federal Budget you’re thinking about. Is it that one?

Those increases to veterans healthcare, and removing barriers in the prescription drug market were pretty big ones he kept, right?

It might be the Muslim ban and Mexico picking up the bill for the bigly fence. Solid election promises kept, right?

There’s been no cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security. Those he kep- oh, wait.

Getting that constitutional amendment done to impose term limits on all members of Congress, that was a pretty big deal.

Man oh man, he sure did keep a lot of campaign promises, and got a lot done in those first two years, when the Republicans had control of the whole kit and caboodle. He didn’t even have time to golf, like that layabout, Obama. ;)

Amazing how you mischaracterize Trump's actual accomplishments as failures. It's also amazing how you seem to believe that the President has the power to just proclaim something and it's automatically the law - oh wait, isn't that what Obama did with DACA? Yet, Trump cannot "undo" it because only Congress has that authority or something?

Now show with specific evidence, as Derpy claimed, how he has fulfilled more promises than any President in the modern history of the US. Thanks.

So you were prepared and willing to prove your innocence. Why isn’t Trump?

I think when and if the audit of his taxes is finally completed, he can do as he wishes rather than what you would prefer him to do.

We’ll see. In one lawsuit they did have a copy of one return or something and when they asked his accountant about it he said yeah, that sure looks like his signature but he didn’t prepare that document.

Swamp draining is being done by the courts, ie. Stone. How many convictions is that now?

My memory...it is foggy...why did the Republicans impeach Clinton again? So...impeachment was worthy then, but not now. And why is that?

What did I mischaracterize, and what do my beliefs - which you know nothing about - have to do with anything?

I simply pointed out Trump’s campaign promises, that he made. Maybe you should’ve explained to him the limited power of the Presidency. Then perhaps he would not look such a fool and liar.

I had not thought for one hot minute that he’d keep most of them, but then I not among the deplorable partisan base that he, his blustery rhetoric, and his empty campaign promises appeal to.

Why do accept and defend his lies?
