"Hearsay can be much better evidence than direct."
Uh ??
So not only are the Democrats ADMITTING their entire impeachment sham is based off of hearsay, but now they're trying to defend it. What a joke!
The alleged witnesses didn't "witness" a damn thing. They heard something...which turns out to be bullshit.
So when are the actual witnesses going to testify?
Even a blind squirrel occaisionally finds his nuts.
Give Sgt Spidey s gold star!
Although a better question would be if there are actual fact witnesses why wouldn't you put them on first?
Just about every question that the Democrats TV star lawyer posed in order to lead the witness lacked foundation. Each question he asked assumed facts that were not in evidence.
He also didn't ask who told you that, and why aren't they here to testify?
You've earned two of these in less than an hour.

Try not to hurt yourself as you continue to realize how much has gone over your head!

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan once again shot his fat mouth off saying why don't they call the one witness who started all of this. Democrat Rep. Welsh replied that Trump would more than welcome to sit across from the committee panel and have him answer all questions. Rep. Jordan had no reply.
Quigley sounds like Crispin Glover.
Dangerous times ahead for America if we allow a person - any person - to be accused, tried, and found guilty on mere hearsay without evidence.
It all good if it takes down Trump, but put yourself in his shoes. Would you really want to live in this country if you have to prove your innocence when someone accuses you of a crime? No thank you. I’d much rather live where the burden of proof is on the accuser, innocent until proven guilty.
On the other hand, dangerous times ahead for America if a president is allowed to commit crimes and ride roughshod over the constitution.
So I guess it’s a good thing Trump is pretty much more transparent with his crimes than with the rest of his administration.![]()
Today's witness has no first hand knowledge either. Marie Yovanovitch is going to come in and cry about being removed by the President. She doesn't realize she serves at the President's pleasure and he has every right to have people in Ambassadorships who will implement "his" foreign policy, not theirs. Hopefully we'll hear something about the "Do not prosecute list" and how she went after US conservative media people as well.
I cannot figure out how anyone would believe that someone is a "seasoned and qualified diplomat" if that person literally cries because someone said mean things about her.
The imagined danger of one person is nothing compared to the very real dangers of the destruction of our entire social order and laws by a group of very determined individuals acting in concert against the best interests of the United States.
