Saturday night, we noticed an animal had been on our property. Best cause, an opossum, worst case a coyote. We have had trouble makers before, but not since we have had chickens. So we set up the live trap. This has not always worked out wonderfully for us. Let me see, I spent weeks trying to catch a feral cat to get him neutered, and I caught raccoons, time and time again. Hell, maybe the same raccoon. He was all feisty and first, then practically greeting me in the morning weeks later. Then there was the time hubby set this live trap and baited it with salmon. Well the salmon went bad fast, which was the best thing ever to my dog. Not only did she manage to get it out to eat it, but also rolled in it. She smelled like death, worst smell ever and I had to bathe her over and over and over. Then there was the time we set the larger one. Well, yeah dog got in this one too, but because it was deeper she couldn’t get the trap off her when it snapped shut, so she was stuck with a cage stuck on her head and a paw. She has also walked around with half a door on her. She is a big dog, and we have a smaller dog door leading to a florida room and chicken wire pond room that the cats like to hang out in. Well yeah, she decided to go through the door, got suck on her hips and she took the whole bottom of the door with her.

Anyway, point is, whatever we in my yard could obviously be an issue for the chickens, and I would like to relocate it. Set the trap, apprehensively, but this is who was not pleased to see me in the morning.

Raccoons are so pretty, aren’t they. Little trouble makers though.

also, just a pointless whine. Someone from our company, who works in another country, sent out a mass Happy Veteran's Day to probably all the American's and his country. now, for the past 2 hours, I have gotten at least 100 thanks and Happy Veteran's emails too. hope no one sends me anything important today, I will never find it.

and yeah, they are. Mikka (The raccoon I was raising) would do super cute thing like go get one of her bottles and hand it to you when she was hungry. but the she would also hide on top to the refrigerator real sneaky like, gather things like tupperware and plastic cups and throw them at you or a cat, when walked by the refrigerator. or get up on the counters, open the bread box, steal bread, though go rinse it and eat it on top of the fish tank. the she learned to open the refrigerator and the drawers. luckily she was ready to move out by that time. (we worked on learning to dig for insects and fishing). But yeah, they have mad skills
 
If there's a pair of tits anywhere that deserves the spotlight, it would be yours.

We have a Chinese place that doesn't charge us for delivery, because we always get $50+ in food LOL We end up tipping the driver what was supposed to be the fee, plus another $5.

we do have a Chinese restaurant near my home, but they don't delivery. I get a kick out of them though. They have a kid, probably nearing teens now, but he has worked the register after school for years. Seriously, he was 5 (I asked him) and working the register in between coloring then later in between homework (place is slow, he might have done 10 minutes of work in 2 hours, not like cruel child labor) What was so funny is when he was little, while taking orders and payments, he spoke like his parents, very broken, incorrect English, shouting orders back in a mix of Chinese and English with a thick accent. Well I would play games with him or help with his homework while waiting on my order as I usually stopped on impulse on my way out of a clothing store, and not calling it in like most. The kid spoke perfectly typical american English. He only sounded Chinese when behind the counter. I guess he had learned by watching them, and did and said everything just like they did. It was so funny to me. Ad he grew, he dropped the register accent, and now is never there. I assume because he is old enough to stay home by himself after school. It was adorable though.

Same with our fav! They have their son learn Chinese, speak it when he's calling out orders. If he doesn't do it correctly, the cooks, his parents, his grandparents will call back in English, "What's that?" LOL
