‘Will he be tried as an adult?’ Internet cracks up at Trump’s claim he ‘hasn’t done anything wrong’

President Donald Trump went off on Twitter Friday in a series of tweets, and one of which claimed he can’t be impeached because he “hasn’t done anything wrong!”

Legal analysts have two schools of thought on Trump’s bribe to Ukraine: The Wall Street Journal said that Trump is too stupid to actually commit any quid pro quo. The other comment from legal scholars is that it’s a textbook example of an abuse of power and extortion

I don't believe Trumpski is "Too Stupid" to be tried as an adult. Just sayin'.:)

Lindsey Graham’s challenge was accepted: Watch Chris Hayes deliver 9 ‘damning pieces of evidence’

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes on Friday directly responded to a challenge from Sen. Lindsey Graham during a broadcast of “All In” before a live studio audience.

The host noted that quid pro quo had become “the standard that Republicans have set for what would constitute an impeachable crime.”

Hayes played a clip of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

“If you could show me that, you know, Trump actually was engaging in a quid pro quo outside the phone call, that would be very disturbing,” Graham said.

Then Chris brought up the evidence, making Ms. Lindsey fall back clutching his pearls on his fainting couch.:D:D

GOP sinks lower and outs purported ‘whistleblower’

Republican lawmakers are publicly spreading the name of a CIA officer named in a RealClearInvestigations report as the whistleblower who reported President Donald Trump’s pressure on Ukraine to investigate the Bidens.

But the report was not the first public mention of the CIA analyst’s name.

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, dropped the name of the purported whistleblower during a public House Natural Resources Committee hearing last week, The Dallas Morning News has reported.

Like a common Gohmert, Louis spills the beans! Then the RWNJ crew started spouting off!

‘What the hell’s wrong with these people?’: MSNBC panel goes off on GOP lawmakers’ threats of violence over Trump impeachment

On Saturday, an MSNBC panel excoriated Republican lawmakers for their badly-concealed threats of civil war if President Donald Trump is removed from office.

“To me, this is one of the most underreported stories in this whole situation that we’re in, this talk of civil war, this talk of potential violence, if this president in particular either doesn’t win re-election or doesn’t get his way,” said host Jonathan Capehart. “How damaging is this to the republic?”

An Armed Insurrection against Constitutional order is, TREASON!

Round up these traitors, Mr. Barr!

Twitter should delete his account altogether. He breaches all of their limitations.

But how will staff know when they get fired?

When their badge doesn't fit in the security machine, I guess--assuming the White House is bothering with security machines anymore, what with former mobsters coming and going at will.

Ex-RNC chair shreds ‘pathetic’ GOP ‘sycophants’ sucking up to Trump and predicts they’ll pay at the ballot box

On MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele registered his disgust at his party’s behavior.

“Are you surprised, given all your years in the Republican Party and all of the values and things that it stood for and stands for in your mind, that these people are siding, despite all the facts that we know that have been released by the president, that they’re still sticking by him?” asked host Jonathan Capehart.

“Not only surprised, but highly disappointed,” said Steele. “It is embarrassing how pathetic these sycophants have become, how desperate they are for one man, one man, to like them, to not tweet about them, to say something good about them, to endorse them. It is embarrassingly pathetic for a party that has a rich and long tradition for standing with the rule of law, standing against our enemies and foreign and domestic, so that would include Russia and the KKK. But here they are.”

Respected Republican calls out the Retched Rethuglicunts who debase their party and themselves at the feet of a Bullshit Artist!:D

Despite all that, I don't think Tuesday is going to go well.

Removal would not be the only punishment the Senate could order if Trump is convicted: Legal expert

“No, there is one other punishment the Constitution specifies, that’s disqualification to hold any other office or trust or profit under these United States,” said Rosen. “And I understand that according to Senate rules, conviction and removal from office requires two thirds, but the disqualification can require a simple majority. So in the historic event, for the first time in history, that the Senate were to remove a president from office, they could then have a separate vote about whether or not to disqualify him from running again for president.”

:D

Fox’s Brit Hume gets schooled in conspiracy law after fumbling attempt to defend Trump

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume was lectured by legal experts on Saturday after declaring that an attempted crime is not really a crime.

Hume quoted an editorial from the conservative Wall Street Journal, which is also owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.

“De*moc*rats want to im*peach Mr. Trump for ask*ing a for*eign gov*ernment to in*ves*ti*gate his po*lit*i*cal ri*val for cor*ruption, though the probe never hap*pened, and for with*hold*ing aid to Ukraine that in the end wasn’t with*held,” the quote read.

I paraphrase, "You dumb fuck! Trumpski committed the crime, just so poorly that it didn't work.":)

I paraphrase, "You dumb fuck! Trumpski committed the crime, just so poorly that it didn't work.":)

Apparently, this may have been the second time he did it and the first was successful (thus a completed crime). As Rachel Maddow reported last night, David Ignatius has written a Washington Post op-ed (I don't subscribe so haven't read it) giving a time-line on Trump, through Giuliani, extorting the previous Ukraine administration and killing a Ukraine prosecution of Paul Manafort back in 2017. Congressional staffers are on it.

Pelosi is kicking Trump’s butt in the battle over impeachment

In a wrap-up of impeachment news coming out of Washington D.C. this week, Bloomberg editor Mark Gongloff said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been handling the president masterfully and Trump should be very concerned.

Mirroring comments made by conservative campaign consultant Rick Wilson, Gongloff said the past week was not a good one for Team Trump.

“Neither Nancy Pelosi nor Donald Trump really wanted an impeachment battle. But now that it’s here, one of them is handling it better than the other,” he wrote before adding, “Pelosi, the House Speaker, was reluctant to impeach Trump and risk political backlash that could hurt vulnerable Democrats and cost her the House majority. She didn’t budge until the Ukraine affair’s evidence suggested such obviously impeachable behavior that it became unavoidable. Many Dems had accused her of moving too slowly, but when she did move, she very quickly got wavering members and much of the country on board.”

How many Senators are now wondering if they can get re-elected if they don't vote for Impeachment? Mitch?:):)

John Bolton is now a ‘born-again Never Trumper’: Conservative expects ‘devastating insider’s indictment’

The Never Trump movement could effectively veto President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, a conservative argued in The New York Times on Saturday.

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

It would be really great if the people within the Trump Administration, all well-meaning and good (I hope!), could stop hiring Never Trumpers, who are worse than the Do Nothing Democrats. Nothing good will ever come from them!

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

The Never Trumper Republicans, though on respirators with not many left, are in certain ways worse and more dangerous for our Country than the Do Nothing Democrats. Watch out for them, they are human scum!

AN increasing demographic. :D

Border agents admit smugglers are cutting through Trump’s wall with a common household power tool: report

On Saturday, the Washington Post reported that smugglers have sliced holes in the new sections of Trump’s border wall with a common and readily available power tool, large enough for people and drugs to pass through.

“The breaches have been made using a popular cordless household tool known as a reciprocating saw that retails at hardware stores for as little as $100,” reported the Post. “When fitted with specialized blades, the saws can slice through one of the barrier’s steel-and-concrete bollards in a matter of minutes, according to the agents, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the barrier-defeating techniques.”

Climb in 10 Sec, saw in 10 Minutes, It's the Trump Wall.:)

Washington Post bombshell documents how Trump fell for the conspiracy theory that caused impeachment

On Saturday, The Washington Post published an explosive, 1,400-word story on President Donald Trump’s views on Ukraine.

The report was headlined, “A presidential loathing for Ukraine is at the heart of the impeachment inquiry.”

“In Trump’s mind, the officials said, Ukraine’s entire leadership had colluded with the Democrats to undermine his 2016 presidential campaign,” The Post reported.

Like Ukrainians gave one thought to Trump, before the US said they would give them guns to fight the Russian "Little Green Men?"

Trump claims bribery isn’t an impeachable offense — but it’s in the Constitution as an example

“Quid pro quo” is a Latin word that simply describes extortion or bribery. The Constitution outlines “high crimes and misdemeanors” as impeachable offenses and gives examples in Section 4 of Article II.

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Donnie hasn't a leg to piss down, errr, to stand on. Dumb Donnie, DUMB!:)

‘Treasure trove’ of Mueller memos shows how Trump has benefited the Russians ‘beyond their wildest expectations’

On Sunday morning, an MSNBC “AM Joy” panel took up the release of a batch of memos from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that were released on Saturday that shed light on even more connections between aides to the president and Russian officials.

Reviewing the documents obtained by Buzzfeed News, conservative columnist Jennifer Rubin said Russia lucked out with Trump as a presidential candidate.

Asked for comment, Rubin smiled and suggested, “I think what it reminds me is that this whole presidency succeeded for the Russians beyond their wildest expectations.”

“It’s all about the Ukrainians,” she continued. “This is preposterous. We know our entire intelligence community confirmed it’s the Russians. We know that Putin was involved in the decision. It’s the Russians, nevertheless, by setting this bug into the campaign and circulating around to Trump — he is still obsessed with this.”

Trump is deluded and dumb!

‘No reason to call witnesses’: Trump has a Monday meltdown over impeachment — insists ‘there is no whistleblower’

After a weekend of attacking and threatening an impeachment inquiry witness, demanding the publication of the whistleblower’s name, and refusing to commit to not shutting down the federal government if Democrats do not end the impeachment inquiry, President Donald Trump clearly is in full freak-out mode.

Monday morning the president continued his deep descent into illogical and potentially illegal attacks.

Trump falsely suggested the existence of the whistleblower is a con-job while claiming they gave false information to and worked with House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff. The president also demanded the whistleblower “be brought forward to testify.” That could be illegal, given the whistleblower is protected by federal law.

Meltdown Monday deja vu. :)
