Over 40 conservative groups file ethics complaint against Paleosi

A coalition of conservative groups filed an ethics complaint against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, arguing she has “weaponized” the impeachment process and "usurped the authority of the Executive Branch."

The complaint, which was led by Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots Action and signed by 40 conservative groups, calls on the Office of Congressional Ethics to launch an inquiry into Pelosi's "misconduct."

Florida GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz has filed an ethics complaint against House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff for the way he has been handling the impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump. Specifically, Rep. Gaetz says that Schiff has been "distorting @POTUS ’s call with President Zelensky, Lying to the public about 'Russian collusion', and blocking members of Congress from attending impeachment depositions."

How can Adam Schiff, a fact witness in his own investigation, be the judge jury and executioner in that investigation? This is a corrupt unprecedented impeachment procedure.

You do realize that for a bunch of people who are suppose to be smart, all this is pretty stupid don't you? not one of these dumb asses have a clue about tactical planning. Why do I say that? Simple:

If as the Republicans insist, this is a witch hunt and there is no basis for it, keep calm and let it play out. If there is nothing legitimate to find to charge the Donald with and they carry through with the investigation and vote to impeach along party lines anyway, then send it to the senate for a hearing AND the senate conducts their trial and the evidence has no substance they will vote not to impeach. If it plays out that way, which is what the Republicans are claiming, the next election is going to be a slaughter for the Democrats.

But that's all based on the extrapolated circumstance that there is nothing of substance to present. If on the other hand the preponderance of the evidence points to the fact that the Donald did exactly what the charges say he did, the best course of action for the Republicans is to pound the table and yell at the top of their collective voices.

So they are either pretty damned stupid when it comes to tactical planning OR (come to think of it) they aren't as stupid as that and know exactly what kind of mouse trap they've wandered into and are engaged in a desperate action of last resort.

Hmmmmm...interesting to see how it plays out.

A waste of time and taxpayer money, like the Mueller Russian/collusion scam, and the continued defaming of an innocent man. A man has a right to defend himself. That right is not afforded to the President under the rules that were just passed.

I assume you were fine with the beghazi and email investigations, so basically you are a hypocrite, right?

It's all going public now so you have nothing to complain about now. I'm sure the dems would love trump to come defend himself. He knows hes not smart enough. :)

No I wasn't happy with the Benghazi hearing. Hillary was not indicted by the DOJ as a result and sent to prison.:rolleyes:
