Signs of being butthurt. Do they think folks care about their crybaby vanity threads? Do they think their opponents will feel shamed? What's the expected outcome?

But they won't be direct outside of the protection of their monitors or pop off in private messages.

Aside from the fact that Rory seems incapable of understanding numerical concepts making "rarely" a word beyond his comprehension, how would that statement begin to rise to the level of "most obnoxious" of all of the falsehoods available for comparison even if it as not true?

Nevermind that a casual look at the plethora of threads that pass unremarked by him would easily show that "lie" to be a true statement.

Maybe, like "rarely" the word "most" elludes his understanding.

Kind of comes down to Rory's inability to quantify when you think about it. He can't seem to quantify what rarely means. He doesn't know what most means and he can't look at his threads and the responses in them and quantify what the participation is and is not.

Hard to say whether this is an ill literacy or an innumeracy problem. Probably a little of both.
