Something new to hate

Think into the future. Life is short. Trump will only be POTUS for the rest of this term and his next term if they don't take him out the way they took out Lincoln. That is just a few years away. Your life is slipping past you. It is clear you need someone to hate and attack. I feel bad for all these folks with Trump derangement syndrome. Even if he was as bad as you have been tricked into believing, WHO CARES? There are other things in life worth dwelling on. You need someone else to hate so that you can rant:mad::eek::mad::( about a greater variety of people that you really know nothing about.

Pelosi, at a long conference table filled almost entirely with graying white
men, lecturing the president during a contentious meeting on Syria as
others look down uncomfortably, averting their gaze.

For the record, a handful of other women were in attendance,
including Rep. Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican,
who is partly obscured by Pelosi’s outstretched arm as she
points to a glowering Trump.

Republicans didn’t find it “Stalin-esque” when they hauled 141
Clinton administration officials in for 568 hours of similar
private depositions.

Rep Biggs and his 76 friends are morons.
Stalin didn't waste time with enquires. He just arrested people and sent them to the gulags. No charges, no subpoena, no court case, no hearings, just straight to the gulag.
Perhaps it what Biggs and his ilk need to bring them into the real world. Dickhead!

At this point, one has to wonder-
if it's party over country for Moscow Mitch McConnell
or McConnell over country.

There doesn't seem to be an institution he's not willing to destroy,
and that very much includes the Congress.

This is "Moscow Mitch" McConnell's attempt to delegitimize
the constitutional process, and the House itself.

Let's back up a moment to the actual basis for the inquiry.

Separate out the quid pro quo of what Trump was trying do and look
at the action that did happen. Trump illegally withheld money appropriated
and designated by the Congress to Ukraine.

That happened.

The other thing Article I gives Congress is the power of the purse.
Trump wrested it away, and McConnell won't say a word in his
institution's defense. That's not new for McConnell at all.
Take Trump's emergency declaration that steals money appropriated
by the Congress to defense and other projects for Trump's vanity
project, the border wall. McConnell has refused to stand against
Trump and for the Congress on that as well.

There's pretty much nothing that Moscow Mitch won't sell out,
for no apparent purpose other than power and "winning."
To get there, he'll smash everything.

his own institution"

This Is Not America

The New York Times reported Thursday night that Attorney General Bill Barr's jaunt around the globe to chase down every weird conspiracy theory about the origins of the Russia investigation that falls out of Donald Trump's ass is now a criminal investigation, which means John Durham, the US attorney ostensibly leading the investigation, now has power to impanel a grand jury, issue subpoenas, and yes, bring criminal charges.

Against people who investigated Russia's attack on the 2016 election that helped install Donald Trump in office.

If this news is what it seems like it is, then America is on thin ice. This is Kremlin shithole banana republic stuff, which shouldn't surprise us, because a Kremlin shithole banana republic guy is president of the United States.

So is Trump just going after his political enemies and using the strong arm of the Justice Department, led by Bill Barr, his low-rent frumpy Roy Cohn stand-in, to do it? Well, it would appear that way, wouldn't it! Think about it. Trump literally thinks the men and women who have conducted these investigations have committed treason.

Well hell, if Trump can't get it from Zelenskiy, and he can't get it from Shokin, then BY GOLLY GOD, he's going to get it from his banana republic Justice Department! And they're gonna ANNOUNCE IT in the NEW YORK MOTHERFUCKIN' TIMES! So now, regardless of what's really happening behind the scenes, Trump will scream from the mountaintops, or at least from the top of his golden toilet as he tweets and shits, that the Justice Department is finally going after the REAL criminals, i.e. the folks in the FBI and CIA who thought it was bad that Trump's best friend Putin was attacking American democracy to install his dumbass shitmouthed puppet Trump in the presidency.

Exactly what he's been wanting the news to talk about all along!

Do we have to let Bill Barr back into the country?

So many things to be afraid of!

Is Trump scared ?

(Trump loyalist) congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter on Wednesday railed
against the Democrat-led impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump
by warning Americans that they could also be impeached.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if a government can do this to the President of the
United States, they can do this to you as well," Carter told reporters earlier
today. "You need to be scared... You need to be very scared."

He added:

"This needs to stop, it needs to stop right now. We need open government."

"This is the United States of America."

Carter's remarks came on the same day as dozens of Republican lawmakers,
led by Reps. Matt Gaetz and Steve Scalise—the House minority whip,
dramatically stormed a closed-door impeachment deposition to protest
the handling of the impeachment inquiry, led by Democrats.

That being said, there’s something unfortunate about a baseball game
being politicized like this. I’m as #NeverTrump as the next guy, but
it was unfortunate that last night’s game devolved into boos and catcalls
when the President was introduced. There was a time when events like
the World Series brought people together, and to some extent they still
do. Indeed, Nationals games, as well as Redskins games, Capitals games,
and Wizards games, are one of the few places in Washington D.C, where
people seem to forget about politics and come together to root for the
home team. In the hyperpartisan Trump Era, even that’s not possible.
Of course, it’s also true that Trump has brought much of them on himself.
His own rhetoric is incendiary and poisonous and it evokes the same
unfortunate emotions in supporters and opponents alike.

World Series between the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros 2019

When the Washington Nationals hosted the Houston Astros on Friday
night, it was the first World Series game in the District since 1933.

To get the crowd to stop their enthusiastic dissent, the camera moved
the shot away from the president and to a group of five wounded veterans
also in attendance. As the fourth inning began, the D.C. crowd adapted a
MAGA rally standard, chanting, “Lock him up.” And by the right-field
foul pole during the seventh inning, fans hung an “Impeach Trump”
banner.

The Kurds gave Trump the location of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Yep, this is the biggest difference between Obama on Bin Laden and Trump on al-Baghdadi (other than the revealing of the secrets of the operation). Obama sustained the capability to do this. With Trump, they had to hurry up and do it, because all of Trump's actions on Syria were taking the away the capability of doing this anytime in the future. Obama was enabling; Trump, in addition to having a big mouth and tiny brain in public disclosure, was disabling the operation.

Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. is set to charge
nearly three times as much for a stay in its least expensive rooms
on the night of Nov. 7, when Senate Republicans are scheduled to

Ethics watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington
(CREW) on Monday noticed the rate-hike and pointed out that the
president’s hotel would be openly profiting from spending by lawmakers
of his own political party.

That night, the National Republican Senatorial Committee is set to begin
hosting a two-day “Save the Senate” retreat for big donors, which will
reportedly include an appearance from President Trump himself and at
least eight current Republican Senators.

‘Lindsey Graham should resign if he won’t do his job’: Ex-Republican says Senator is unfit to even be a lawyer

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was blasted by a former Republican congressman on Tuesday for refusing to do his job.

Graham, a close ally of President Donald Trump, chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee but has said he will not read any of the transcripts in the impeachment inquiry.

Former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) blasted Graham on MSNBC.

“I think Lindsey Graham should resign if he’s not going to do his job,” Jolly said. “The chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and he said he’s not going to look at the facts of the allegations against the president of the United States, that he worked with a foreign nation to corrupt the domestic elections in 2020.”
