Limp Bizkit - Rollin'

https://youtu.be/CqxQVyHkrK4

Hate all you want - Limp Bizkit have some killer grooves and decent riffs. I have never been a huge Nu-Metal fan, but LB have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. They try SO hard to be edgy and cool without ever reaching true coolness. But still, see above. Killer grooves and riffs plus Freddie D.'s raps are in a class of their own, cringe-wise. A good soundtrack for a party or - in my case - for a "finished a long chapter" celebration.

Bigger fan of Korn but I don't mind a bit of throwback LB from the 90s once in a while.

Right now I've been adding a lot of Live (mostly Throwing Copper) into my usual mix of AmaLee and Erock cover songs. First to Eleven and the Snakecharmer have gotten my attention lately as well.

I knew you two were my people.
I've had Live's "Sparkle" stuck in my head for a week.
I'm gatherin' up my friends today
all these hookers and soldiers and swine
and would-be saints

Ed Kowalczyk spends a lot of time in my brain, occasionally overthrown by Mike Shinoda or Corey Taylor.

Tears For Fears

Elemental
Raoul And The Kings Of Spain
The Seeds Of Love
Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down)

Rebel Rebel - David Bowie

Such a great song.
When I saw Pearl Jam last year at Wrigley they did a cover of this and no one I was with even knew what it was!

So my 'in a funk' playlist is a lot of Conor Oberst. Listened to The Ladder Song and No Lies, Just Love.
Now I'm listening to Liam Finn-Fire In Your Belly.

Norman F*cking Rockwell

The new Lana Del Rey album is on constant repeat. I'm in love with it.
