I had always been taught that crossing the equator involved lots of hazing and gender-play, ending with the right to call yourself a "shellback" and that rounding Cape Horn meant a golden hoop.

The earring reminds me of a Swedish TV show for children called Andersson Below. (In Swedish, "Andersson i nedan"for freely translation.) It was about an alien living on the point of the moon when it was pointy, if you know what i mean, and he asked a lot of questions about what the life was about on the earth. I loved the program as a kid!

I was reminded today that I didn't post my jeans shopping pics from last weekend.

What happened? I went to the same store that I've been buying jeans at since the 80s. I discovered that they no longer make my favourite jeans.

Bummer, as we said in the 70s.

So, like millions to " every day" (Get it?), I ordered jeans from Amazon. They arrived yesterday. I took a pic in exactly the same pose as my old jeans. Oh, new belt too.
