President Donald Trump's golf outings have already cost U.S. taxpayers at least $102 million, according to an analysis from the HuffPost.

The $102 million paid by Americans to cover security and travel expenses on the golf trips during Trump's almost two and half years in office was about $12.7 million less than what Barack Obama and his family spent on travel during Obama's eight years in the White House, according to documents obtained by Judicial Watch, a conservative government watchdog that relies on open records laws.

The cost breakdown is around $88 million for Florida based golf trips, $9.0 million for New Jersey trips and $8 million for other golfing trips in Scottland, Japan, and other locations. If he takes a trip those are the costs involved. The President is supposed to reside at the White House and spend most of his time there. If he chooses to travel and golf, those are valid costs that are incurred.

As a side note to all this, I came across a story which uses the phrase "brave whistelblower" in relation to Hillary's emails. We don't know who that whistleblower is, but shouldn't their identity be revealed? After all, if this whistleblower, reporting on the criminal activity of the con artist, which has since been corroborated, should have their identity revealed, it's only fair that this other whistleblower be reported as well.

Or is this the usual, "When my guy does it it's great. When the other guy does it it's a travety"?

Acting Ambassador to Ukraine William B. Taylor says he was told release of Ukraine aid was contingent on public declaration to investigate the 2016 elections and the Bidens.


Taylor said he spoke to Ambassador Gordon Sondland, the U.S. envoy to the European Union.
“During that phone call, Amb. Sondland told me that President Trump had told him that he wants President [Volodymyr] Zelensky to state publicly that Ukraine will investigate Burisma and alleged Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election,” Taylor said in the statement.

Amb. Sondland also told me that he now recognized that he had made a mistake by earlier telling the Ukrainian officials to whom he spoke that a White House meeting with President Zelensky was dependent on a public announcement of investigations — in fact, Amb. Sondland said, ‘everything’ was dependent on such an announcement, including security assistance,’” Taylor told House investigators.
He said that President Trump wanted President Zelensky ‘in a public box’ by making a public statement about ordering such investigations

Trump is also adamant that anthropogenic climate change is a hoax, that he is a stable genius, that white nationalists are good people, that he has never committed sexual harassment or abuse, that he is the least racist person you will ever meet, and, basically, that up is down and light is dark. So the fuck what?

The sum total of the witness statements and evidence are what counts, not what comes out of his pie-hole.

He'll be impeached, and the Senate will likely let him off the hook because it is full of enablers like you.
