Everyday Items.

There's a Federal Election on Monday. Frankly, it's a mess. Broken promises, scandals, accusations, outright lies. And that was just the mock election and my grandson's school...

Signs are a huge part of elections here, just like most places. Mundane, predictable, part of the eye pollution of the modern world. In short, "everyday items". We do politics a bit differently in Canada however. These signs appeared in the Ontario riding of London North-Centre

(It's near the University of Western Ontario, a notorious party school. Those of us who went to respectable schools like U of Waterloo refer to it as "daycare for rich kids").

BTW. I come crashing in a couple of times a week, stumble around searching for the rights words to say, make a scene and leave. Being good and tolerant people, the AmPickers don't seem to mind at all.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I've just dropped a bowl and it smashed all over the kitchen floor and managed to clear up without getting glass in my foot and keeping the dog away. Probably the greatest achievement of my life!
