Hey there, I submitted a prologue/info chapter (Chapter 0) to a story that contains both con and non-con elements in the world of warcraft universe, the prologue/info got rejected. (Note: the minor prologue story itself does not contain non-con elements)

"You tagged this WoW, rape and noncon in the intro notes. We do not publish non-consent stories involving real-life people, groups/organizations, or copyrighted characters. In other words, we do not publish non-con fanfic."

I clarified in the moderator notes that my story does not contain any copyrighted characters and all characters are unique to me minus some minor character appearances/references that are not directly related to any non-con scene.

Accepted, cool, move on to first chapter and get that accepted as well.

I then wanted to edit my first story, mainly switching it from non-con genre to sci-fi and fantasy, editing a few tags, and keeping it more consistent overall and avoid confusion as pointed about by a follower.

The edit got rejected, then the moderator removed the original chapter 0 piece. (Chapter 1 is still up)

Can I get any clarification on this? And can I submit future chapters that contain non-con elements (Note: the characters within the story are unique creations to me, but do exist within Blizzard's universe of 'World of Warcraft')

I believe in non-con, the characters must receive sexual satisfaction. Does that factor in?

Can I get any clarification on this?

Not on the discussion board. Only other users are reading/posting here. You need to take this up directly with the sole site editor, Laurel, via the Private Message system (top right column of this page if you have private messages turned on).

Oh, thank you!

No response so far. Busy person or doesn't check messages from here? Any other way I can contact Laurel?

No. You are probably doomed to be rejected unless you change your setting to something called "World of Warpcraft" and change any unique place or character names to fit your own world.

OR just make it all consensual, happy, carefree, and joyful sex to fit the guidelines.

Address the reasons for the second rejection - something is still triggering the rejection criteria.

Carefully review your text, tweak as necessary, and resubmit with a Note to the Editor explaining what you've done, or arguing your case, or both.

The best way to get it resolved is to get it back into the submissions queue. PMs might work, but checked/revised content cuts to the chase.

If those "minor character appearances" are canonical WoW characters, then your story has copyrighted characters. Even if they're not present for the non-con scenes, that's likely to cause rejection.

Celeb/Fanfic is pickier than most categories about NC elements - I think that's mostly driven by the creepiness of hosting rape fantasies about real people, but I can see why Blizzard might not be comfortable with WoW-themed rape porn, and Literotica may not be eager to fight that battle.

Probably your best bet is to do what LesDesirable said and convert it to Generic Fantasy Setting rather than WoW-specific.
