Under the regulations in place that individual is not a whistleblower. One of the reasons the dems are so desperate to keep its identity secret because that individual will have NO protection at all. They will eventually be found out - and fired.
 
I'm thinking the Republicans are going to start backing the impeachment soon just to get Trump out of office as he is becoming more and more mentally unstable with each passing day.

I think they will start to see how much of a shit show his presidency is and will stop their defense of him.

Wow. How improper is this? If he’s trying to shape his testimony, he’s potentially suborning perjury. Why is he having a secret interview with him at all? That’s tainting the witness and now Schiff really should recuse himself because he’s shown he can’t conduct an impartial investigation and has become a part of it.
