What...the...fuck...

Aah, Texas?
I thought, from dolf's consternation that it happened in the UK. Shootings in the US are pretty much common.

That's why they put "Black woman" in the title.
Texas, I understand is more racist than other areas.
But do they have a sustained problem with shootings of Black civilians by cops, or are they trying to sensationalize it?

It happens. I’ve done similarly myself.

As you said earlier there’s a larger discussion to be had about institutional racism on this country and it’s not confined to the police or Texas.

However, this just happened. I don’t think it was discussed here much.

Seriously?

I post a link to a story about a young woman being killed by a cop who fucked up... and half the responses are that black people kill each other all the time, and black people will probably loot now.

Is that really your first reaction?!

This is why I rarely engage in these threads. I feel like it's regurgitated rhetoric instead of true discussion. Every thread turns into name-calling and the same tired arguments.

Well....they aren't wrong.

That's what I've been told. I'm not American.

But as an outsider, had the shooting happened in Chicago, where I understand that Black crime is very high, I would have thought that it has nothing to do with subconscious racism. Most likely anxious or incompetent cops being trigger happy.

But when I hear about Alabama or Texas, I automatically consider subconscious racism too. (like subc. stereotyping all Blacks).

AND THEN AGAIN!! RACISM MAY HAVE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!

If it had happened in Chicago it would have NEVER made the news.

New England and Michigan/Indiana/Ohio/western PA area are by far the most overtly racist regions in the country. Hands down.

The whole "Texas is the most racist eva!" thing is a load of shit....it's one of the friendliest and most diverse states in the country.

If she lived in the Windy City and got shot by some gang members her death would not be in a thread here or in the news. I feel bad for what happened to her but if you are serious about wanting to fix the broken system you need to open your eyes to the much greater problem that looms all around you. A good eye opener would be for you to figure out the honest answer to this question: "Why doesn't the media cover the black on black shooting death epidemic?" If you figure out the answer to that question if will open your eyes to some other questions. But rather than honestly think about what I am saying you could just choose to be angry at me and go back to sleep.
How do you know about that epidemic if the media aren’t covering it? Do you live there?

Indiana - not surprised. Ugly unsophisticated state, unfriendly people. NE - they think that they're superior to others.
I didn't expect Michigan and particularly Western Pensylvania.

As a foreigner, you're told Alabama & Texas.

Some folks are stuck in 1950, others are desperate to pretend we still are.

Alabama and Texas back then? Yea, hella racist.

Now? Not so much.

Let us know when they get around to pulling Confederate statues out of public areas.

"but..but..Black-on-black crime!" has been a traditional conservative/glibertarian "place holder", used for generic hand wringing while appropriate talking points are formulated, depending on the race of the cop and the past criminal record of the victim.

I'm sure you have plenty of data to back up that bullshit. Especially Michigan and Western Pa.. I've lived in both.

Dammit! Why doesn't EVERYONE care about this as I clearly do! Am I and butters and the rest of the GB socialist twats (and our cucks, of course) the only ones here with feelings?! What's wrong with you bastards?! YOU ALL NEED TO BE ASHAMED THAT YOU DON'T CARE AS MUCH AS I DO!

Guilt-shaming projection by a baby killer champion is definitely some sad shit to read.

Thoughts and prayers you someday get the help you obviously need.

Just personal experience as a person of color with a different colored wife and a mixed kid.

Where you've lived is irrelevant to the facts.

More than likely, you are treated the way you are because people see you for what you are. Race has nothing to do with it.

Remember when the Intolerables used to pontificate so righteously about not judging anyone? It's nice to see they've given up that charade, too.

PoPos and their PewPews.

Ain't nobody safe from 'em no where.

You've offered no facts, no data to back up your comment. Typical.

So on top of the billion other states you've lived in, now Michigan and Western Pa are on the list.'

I hope you write all this shit down so you can keep track of it.

Opinions don't require backing up....it's an opinion.

No....never said I lived in either of those fucking shit holes, there isn't enough money in the world.

Aim high Chair Force and learn to fucking read.

I hope you write all this shit down so you can keep track of it.

Why would I keep track of your mistakes??? LOL

In most cases yes, that's why people generally treat me well.

Race has nothing to do with it.

Remember that next time you're crying about "white privilege" because black people aren't doing well in school, can't follow the laws and kill each other in droves. :)

Also the fact that assholes in MI, IN and PA brought up race, race mixing and anti-semitic slurs as their point of contention? Because they are racist.

Like when people around here start calling me gook, slanty, Bot-Choi and taking other jabs at my racial/cultural/ethnic background because they can't defend their anti-American political positions.

Wow.
Your guys' hypocrisy is astounding.

You keep virtue signaling about racism, but when a minority that's not on your feel-good list relates their own experience...
