Just always remember that just because life sucks (and boy can it) doesn’t mean that there’s not still wonderful things. They are there and trust me if you knew “my tragic backstory” (patent pending lol) you’d know you should listen cause I know exactly what I’m talking about find something to enjoy in today. I think that would work. I watch a lot of Anime and there are several about writers or manga artists and the editors are always these bounty hunter like dudes who hunt them down and drag them back to their room to write or draw.
