I'm a slightly more extreme version of my real self. I use more profanity here for colour. But my hiding behind a screen doesn't give me any more courage. I'm very, incredibly direct in real life. If I see something I think is stupid, I will say it.

I would actually argue that who we are on here, for many of us, is likely more our true self than who we are on the daily. #DeepThoughts

And I'm debating on who to exclude. I'm thinking about being very exclusive. Like, this is The Hamptons of cliques. Don't come in here wearing your dirty sneakers expecting to get in.

I keep seeing all of this passive aggressive talk about cliques on this site. And it sounds awesome.

But what makes a good clique? I tend to think that the high level of exclusivity and the members within are what make it awesome. I've already got one member other than me who is class. I'm just looking for a few good men and women to help me exclude the rest of Lit.

Don't worry, though. Just because we are in a clique, doesn't mean we won't whine and bitch about other cliques. I think that's the heart of what makes a clique strong.

In a seemingly unrelated note, I've added a poll as a spin-off of a discussion last night. I described myself as gentle and someone said I was blunt and obnoxious. The nerve of that cunt. When I called her on it, she suggested I start a poll. Not wanting to draw attention to myself, I figured I would hide it in here.

I’m absolutely myself here.
I giggle more in person but this is the authentic me. I find that to be true of a number of people I know.

I’m more direct on lit than in real life. Primarily because when the senior exec I’m working with is being a shittard I can’t just slap him up side his melon. But it’s closer to me to be direct. I just find a way to tell him his idea is fucking stupid with different words.
