Whistleblower

Why do you Trumpettes feel compelled to blatantly and outrageously lie about simply everything?

...

As I've pointed out before, KeithD, when it comes to who's a liar, let's all remember that you're the guy who claimed to be a SR-71 pilot until someone posted this and showed you were lying about being one of those heroes.

You should still be ashamed of yourself, KeithD.

Meanwhile...

2020 Democratic presidential primary frontrunner Joe Biden (D) may have landed in hot water after denying that he and his son spoke about the younger Biden’s Ukraine dealings.

While speaking to reporters on Saturday, Biden — the former vice president from former President Barack Obama‘s administration — claimed to Fox News’ Peter Doocy that his son Hunter Biden and he “never” discussed the latter’s Ukraine “business dealings” after the younger Biden had said the opposite in a July New Yorker piece.

H. Keene, Biden Claims He ‘Never’ Spoke to His Son About Ukraine Dealings, Forgot Son Said the Opposite, IJR (Sep. 23, 2019).

Oh, and...

Then release the transcripts and prove it.

...

President Trump said he ordered the release on Wednesday of the unredacted transcript of his July call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as probes into whether he pressured Ukraine to investigate Democrat Joe Biden intensified on Capitol Hill.

“You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Tuesday. “No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo!”

...

Inside the White House in recent days, the debate over whether to release the transcript focused on the precedent it would set, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), a close ally of the president, said in an interview Monday. He added that releasing the transcript would be “historic.” Mr. Graham said the president was eager to put it out, but aides were more resistant....

The administration’s reason for putting a hold on the Ukraine funds is at the center of the expanding investigation in Congress into whether there was any connection between the review of foreign aid and efforts by the president and Mr. Giuliani to urge Ukraine to investigate Mr. Biden, a leading Democratic presidential candidate....

Congress had approved sending military aid to Ukraine to help the country defend against Russian aggression. But Mr. Trump and his advisers, including then-national security adviser John Bolton and Defense Secretary Mark Esper, began discussing in June the prospect of putting a hold on the funds while the administration reviewed them, a senior administration official said.

In July, Mr. Trump directed Mr. Mulvaney to do just that. An official said the decision stemmed from his concern about what other countries were spending on Ukraine.

The EU has provided more than €15 billion ($16.5 billion) in loans and assistance to Ukraine since 2014. Earlier this month, Vice President Mike Pence called on European nations to provide more security support to Ukraine.

Another administration official said the reasons given internally for the decision to hold up the funds were the lack of support from other countries to Ukraine and concerns about corruption in the country. Mr. Trump has repeatedly pointed to corruption in Ukraine in his calls for an investigation of Mr. Biden in recent days.

Be careful what you wish for, Carnal_Flower.

The complete, totally true, and unedited transcript has just been released!

TRUMP: Hi! Is this Ukraine! HELLO? I can never get this fucking thing to —

UKRAINE: Yes, this is Ukraine.

TRUMP: Oh, hi. How come you're not "THE Ukraine" anymore? Is this one of those things like how the U.K. also used to be Great Britain, but then also used to be England?

UKRAINE: What?

TRUMP: Anyway, I just wanted to congatulate you on your glorious victory, which I know represented the pure will of the Ukrainian people and not election fraud. Can you tell I'm winking?

UKRAINE: Thank you, Mr. President.

TRUMP: Here's the main thing I wanted to bring up. I was just thinking: after finishing my hour of morning prayer, followed by a deep read of this morning's intelligence briefing, followed by a thorough examination of the budget, and absolutely no television or golf whatsoever, it occurred to me that I needed to tell you that I absolutely do NOT want you investigating Joe Biden or his dear son. Do you hear me? No investigations.

UKRAINE: Joe Biden has a son?

TRUMP: Nothing is more important to me than ensuring that the 2020 U.S. election is conducted fairly and honestly. I don't want anything to taint its illegitimacy.

UKRAINE: (chuckles) OK, who is this, really?

TRUMP: I have to go, but next time can we discuss downtown real estate in Kiev? Just because it's always been a hobby of mine and not because I'm interested in putting a hotel there. I mean, I'm president and have completely sworn off having anything to do with my business, as you well know. That was a promise I made to the American people, just like saying Mexico would pay for the wall.

UKRAINE: Oh, certainly Mr. President. Give my best to Melania, Eric, Junior, Ivanka, the other daughter, and the other son.

TRUMP: I'm late for my volunteer shift at the soup kitchen. Bye!

What's in the not-really-a-transcript is bad enough that it makes one wonder about the stuff that was left out.

Totally untouched “summary”. 🙊
Yeah.....

Even though it’s just a summary and not at what Trump promises, it still shows Trump asking the Ukraine president to investigate Biden.

The lawyer for the Ukraine “whistleblower” is a former staffer for Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton....

That’s all you need to know when you’re wondering if this nonsense passes the smell test...

IT ALWAYS COMES TO THAT....DOESNT IT?

I’ve no idea if that is true or not. I do believe this whistleblower would gore themselves the best attorney and not like Trump’s “best”. I mean, he’s got Giuliani. The poor sap that admits to his own wrong doing and that if Trump’s as well.

You don't have any idea if ANY of it is true or not. Yet, you're willing to smear someone anyway.

Do you think Pelosi isn't well aware the Senate will protect his ass?

She knows that, but she doesn't control her party anymore.

The young ones want her out, and the Presidential Candidates will say anything their base wants to hear "Impeach" in order to stay in the news.

Does anyone think she doesn’t have the votes?

Does anyone think that Trump doesn't have the votes to beat this?

The Democrats, once again, have proven it's not about right or wrong or justice, but about what they want.

‘Xactly!

If you're going to believe everything is a lie because it doesn't say what you want it to say, then you're wasting people's time by talking. (We'll start calling you Keith Jr.)

Giuliani has smeared himself time and again. That has zero to do with who the whistleblowers attorney is.

So, in your mind, Guliani is bad because he's Trump's lawyer but the whistleblower's lawyer is good because he's the lawyer for the guy who filed a false complaint against Trump?

And you say the 2 things have absolutely no connection to each other.

"There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, what Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that, so whatever you can do with the attorney general would be great," Trump said to Zelensky in the call.

Of course the AG wants in on the action as well.

“However, what was released Wednesday as a five-page summary of that call, which lasted around a half hour, and not a full verbatim transcript of the call.“

Anyone think they will stop calling this the full unredacted transcript that was promised?

Trump and Giuliani fully admitted that they’ve done exactly what people are claiming the whistleblower and the IG found to be of urgent concern. Not to mention, it’s been reported that it involves more than a single phone call.

Enjoy hanging by the thread of this single summary for as long as it lasts, for it won’t last long.

:rose: Thoughts and prayers

Exactly. But it's already being waved away by his supporters because, as we've seen over and over again, if Trump does it then it's a-ok.

Yeah....let’s not forget about his “wide margin” of 80k votes.

It’s always fun when the Three Stooges (BusyBoring, ArpyDerpy, and Whiteguide, who’s missing today) prattle on about subjects of which they have no facts.

I believe a summary doesn’t equal a full unredacted transcript.

And here it comes...

A complaint was filed, and the screams of impeachment started Then it turns out the complainant didn't have actual knowledge of the call but Congress demanded the complaint be turned over AND the call transcript with it. The transcript was released this morning.

Now, the screams are about how foreign leaders won't feel safe talking to Trump because he's demonstrated once again that he can't keep State secrets secret. And the new spin is that the transcript that was demanded be released isn't actually a "transcript" even though it's the "official transcript" of the call.

What it comes down to is that you and your elk jumped the shark and demanded something before all the facts were known. Now that you've been shown to be idjits in public, you have to cover your asses so you're inventing new reasons to be upset with Trump for giving you what you wanted in the first place.

So, you resort to the only thing a child will do in this situation - you throw an even bigger temper tantrum with louder screams and kicking feet. I wonder if you will eventually resort to throwing fragile objects against the wall and breaking them.

It’s the Barr summary all over again. They just keep lapping it up.

What’s even more amusing is they seem to think this is the only thing that is seen as an impeachable offense. 🙊 I’ll bet money that it is not despite the Republican’s best efforts to obstruct.
