Whistleblower

So, the Trumpettes here think it's quite all right for aid money appropriated by Congress to another country can be held back by the president until/unless that country prosecutes a political opponent of the president. Interesting just how degenerate a Trumpette here can be.

One more thing. Many people listen in to presidential conversations as a matter course. So the question is, why is this guy the only person who thought Trump's words were alarming? We know why.

Clapper lied before Congress, Fact. Hundreds of not thousands of persons in the intelligence community knew it, Fact.

Snowden was the only one to blow the whistle.

Given the current FISA ferver of the Alt-Right Snowden should be considered a hero.

So the question is, why isn't he? We know why.

In both cases the real question is why aren't more people coming forward?

He asked eight times, apparently. Yes, that is against the law, and this is a far more concrete example than Trump colluding with the Russians. There’s no wiggling out of this one.

Yah, I got tired of posting in the echo chambers.

Algo has failed again. So sad.

The problem is with Obama and Biden and the former Ukrainian leader, not Trump and the present Ukrainian leader to whom the Trump administration has given the security assistance dollars. Clinton and Obama were working with the previous Ukrainian leader to undermine the Trump campaign and protect Biden's son from criminal investigation, and Trump just forced the deep state to expose themselves. They are being trapped in their own wrongdoing. You need to go back and listen again to Giuliani's as he destroys Coumo's framing with the truth. Listen carefully, Algo, and become informed:

They didn't talk about them to Congress, they went through the Whistleblower process which they have a legal right to do.

He/she didn't go running to Adam Schiff, now did they? They followed the proper channels.

THe Intel Community doesn't have oversight authority but no one's saying they do; Congress does. THe complaint goes to the IG who forwards it to the DNI who is supposed to forward it to Congress. That's how it works.

It could be a Trumper. The IG is Trump Appointed, and he's the one who called it credible and urgent, whoops. More examples of you idiots saying Republicans are part of the Deep State.

Congress DOES have a right to know. Oval Office Tapes sound familiar ya dumb shit?

The illegality is not the release of Classified Info, it's using a public office for private gain.

If the President is not above the law then he cannot quash a Whistleblower's complaint making its way through the legal process.

You forgot the rest of what he said, It isn't the job of the Intel Community to listen to presidential calls and talk about them to the Congress. There is a such thing as separation of powers in the Constitution.

The Intel Community has ZERO oversight authority over the President and his conversations with foreign leaders. We don't know who this "whistleblower" is or what his motivations are but it will become known. This will prove out to be another deep state attack on the President that goes nowhere except to the headlines in the Democrat press.

Mudd, a political enemy of the President, also said the President can say anything he wants. I will add, these conversations are privileged, just as the President has no right to know what goes on with the communications of the Congress, they have no right to know what the President says or what his state of mind is in his private conversations with anyone.

The other point is, it is a fallacy that the President can break the law by releasing classified information. He is the legal final arbiter of what is classified and what isn't. He can declassify anything by simply ordering it declassified or by talking about it, "he" is the CnC, not the Congress.

So the whole premise that he did something illegal is aimed at the ignorant and will go nowhere, just like every one of the Democrat and Deep State attempts to undermine this President.

The President is not above the law, he's not below it either. There is no "legislative purpose" behind the Democrat demand for his taxes. New York passed that law solely to help congressional democrats to attack the President.

The Congress has no right to his tax information under federal law without a legitimate legislative purpose. They have produced no evidence of a any crime that would justify probable cause to seize his taxes. This is a political fishing expedition aimed at continuing the coup against his presidency.

What she said^^^^^

Funny how Trump can admit that he has no problem doing exactly what the whistleblower is accusing him of doing. “I think you might want to listen, there isn’t anything wrong with listening,” Trump said then. “If somebody called from a country, Norway, ‘we have information on your opponent’? Oh, I think I’d want to hear it.” Funny how Giuliani can admit to doing the same exact thing on Trump’s behalf. All if this is known facts. Still, folks here and elsewhere turn a blind eye and try to point a finger at the very opponent Trump was attempting to takedown. Never mind the fact that there’s not a shred of evidence, and more than that, Trump’s claims have been wildly refuted.

That comment prompted a public rebuke from the chair of the Federal Election Commission, who said that what Trump suggested was illegal, and “not a novel concept.” Trump later revised his comment to say that while “of course, you have to look at it,” he would then “give it to the FBI or report it to the attorney general or somebody like that.”

Snipped from and article in WaPo.

But Ukraine's current prosecutor, Yuriy Lutsenko, told Bloomberg News Service in May that he had no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden or his son.

Is Sriracha sauce part of a keto diet for fat chicks?

Just wondering.

They didn't talk about them to Congress, they went through the Whistleblower process which they have a legal right to do.

You bore me. If you knew what you were talking about you'd know the compliant didn't meet the requirements of the whistleblower regulation IN THE FIRST PLACE. The applicable law confines complaints to “misconduct within the Intelligence Community.” This was a deep state spy who hates the President trying to give Democrats a phony rap to use as a tool in their impeachment efforts to remove him from office.

Nobody in the Intel community has oversight authority over the conversations of the President. Nobody in the Intel Community has the authority to inform the Congress about conversations the President has with foreign leaders. This is an attack on the separation of powers.

The lack of a legal requirement to turn the transcripts over to the Congress aside, the real reluctance to turn them over is the Chairman of the Intel Committee himself, Adam Schiff who regularly has leaked classified information and who's security clearance is in danger. This is what Democrats get for placing a radical partisan domestic enemy in charge of the Intelligence Committee. Everyone in the administration is going to resist trusting him with classified information.

The transcript would make that all clear, wouldn’t it? As far as I can tell, the transcript hasn’t been released. What could they be waiting for?
