I do work. I am a systems engineer for a tech company. If anything, school makes it worse, as I have to run such a tight ship because I usually get home late, so keep kid focused on homework while making dinner, squeeze in baths some nights, get clothes picked out, get him to bed on time etc. Where as no school I can say fuck it to a lot of that.

It's amazing you find the time to do anything else. It sounds like work x2 which it basically is. Suppose that makes us all very fortunate that you do find the time you do to post around here.

Well it is easier than it used to be. I had a higher level position and hubby wasn't working when I got pregnant. So he fell into the stay at home dad roll, by the time I got home, he was done, and I was tired myself. Then on call and travel he would not even get the night break. Now kid can do some things on his own, has school during the day, i applied for and accepted a lesser position which includes almost no on call or travel, so really I am finding more time than I had.

As for posting, it is all on the go and multitasking mostly. Most of my day posting is during pointless conference calls that corporations love to have. I have had conference calls on how to have less conference calls. Not kidding.

Nice to hear that things have settled down somewhat lately and you don't have to be so busy as before. That's the good thing about kids, they're always able to do so much on their own, especially as they get older. These days people tend to worry about kids a lot, it's certainly different than the days I was a wee lad. Times change.

Then I took it out of the package, and I shit you not, it looked like it was sleepwear for a 9 month old. it was this super tiny little onsie, and I was sure there was no way on Gods green earth that it could possibly fit, however it was way better than I expected. And next pointless ramble, today's picture attire sparked a memory. As I have mentioned before, in college, the bars had ladies' nights, thurday, friday, and saturday usually, depending on the bar. women had no cover and drank free. men paid a high cover and expensive drinks. Personally, I think most men liked it. Drunk young college chicks, they did not have to pay to get drunk, seems good. And, as I have mentioned before, men had started suing places for being "sexist" for having ladies' nights, so all the bars switched to like high heeled night, fishnet fridays, shaved leg saturdays, etc. so they weren't sexist. If a man came in high heels or with shaved legs, or wearing fishnets, he would drink free. So yeah, you know the night finally came where a frat boy came in in a florescent green speedo with a whole body fishnet. It was probably some sort of frat hazing, but he handled it like a champ though. Frequently striking a cute pose, doing a cat walk walk around the bar. Yeah, it was funnier than the random man on shaved leg or high heels night. I had totally forgotten about that. So many laughs were had that night by so many, he just really hammed it up all night. I wonder where fishnet friday frat boy ended up. Probably an accountant with a couple of kids by now. I wonder if he remembers that night lol.
