You are absolutely correct. I have had many relationships that I regret but I literally spent the best times of my life with my cousin, not just in bed (or making love in the middle of the woods) but simply doing ordinary G rated things together. Yes quite so. The ancient Greeks had words for four different types of love. With family you get at least two, probably three of those together. Plus ultimate trust and the thrill of the taboo.

With one notable exception (My partner) all of my most satisfying relationships (Both emotional and sexual) have been with members of my own family! And I agree that it's likely more common than a lot of people think, I grew up in a small town and know of at least 4 people who have had long term incestuous relationships and I suspicions, but no confirmation about 3 others, and that's not counting members of my family!
