Well... Seeing the republicans are not coming to the party let me make a few suggestions that could answer this question:
1. Trump lied.

Tariffs on mexico-produced goods?

So, other than agricultural products, a tax on US corporations.

When I was a Republican, I used to try all kinds of logical loops to find another revenue source to replace the taxes no longer paid by the rich. Fact is, you can't get away from the graduated income tax without returning to 1913 levels of government. Is that really what we want? Bye bye, Head Start, sayonara OSHA, kiss even the Air Force goodbye. Oh, and school lunches just got a lot more expensive for kids.

They don't need to "Explain" how Mexico is paying for the border wall. Just have Trump tell everyone that Mexico is, in fact, paying for the border wall and whether it's actually true or not, all his supporters will believe him and blame "Fake news" when someone calls him out on it.

You guys are confused, big time.

Trump didn't get Mexico to pay for the wall, even if he brags about his great trade deal.

Instead, he got the money from the Military & their HUGE budget.

The President had to adapt when his plans didn't come to fruition.

Are you guys telling me that with all the headlines about the Pentagon diverting funds, you snowflakes still didn't understand that Mexico wasn't paying for the wall? (Holy shit, you guys are dumb.)

This is going up on my GB Service Announcement Thread: Snowflakes are so dumb that they can't understand when Trump changes his plans.

So, it's a small victory for the Democrats to say, "He's a liar" (cool :), good for them) but the wall is still going up (aww, maybe someone can file a lawsuit?) and come election time no one but the Democrats will care. :eek: While this will be far enough in the past for people to say, "Eh, he still got the wall up, so there's that." ;) That's politics.

Jesus Christ, you really didn't know that Mexico WASN'Tpaying for the wall. :eek:

Go ahead and turn this into another circle jerk thread, and have some fun for a little while. :D You have my blessing.

I think pretty much everybody already knew that Mexico was not paying for the border wall. Nor will they, ever. That was kinda the whole point. It was just one of Trump's blowhard-esque campaign promises that was laughable even at the time.
