I posted a new story to the "erotic couplings" category on Literotica today. It's titled , "A Happy Little Romance." It's the first new story I've posted in 7 years. My, how quickly time gets away from you!

Anyway if you get a chance, please give it a read. If it gets a favorable response I may be motivated to write a new one a wee more often than once every 7 years. There's a link to it in my signature line. Thanks for clicking on it. :)

'Perspiration scented aisles at Wal-Mart??!'

...You had me at 'perspiration scented aisles at Wal-Mart.'

LOL

What a line. Pay that man.

Hey, Ben. And here was me thinking that you had retired from writing anything more that one word long. Good work, sir. But I think it is highly unlikely that I shall still be around in seven years' time. Is it possible that you might up the rate a tad? :)

Thank you. I've been to Wal-Mart enough times to pick up on little subtleties like that. Thanks for reading.

Thanks. I'll make an effort to be more prolific in the future.

What happens in seven years? Why won't you be around?

Too many birthdays, Ben. According to the chaps in white coats, I was supposed to die ten years ago. What do they know, eh? :)

Don't give away too many secrets, SamS.

My mother - who had long told everyone I came down in a spaceship somewhere in a jungle - was the world's longest lived facial part replacement cancer 'patient,' I remember a whole team of experts gave her six months to live.

Anyway, more than thirty years later, what with one thing and another in a major public hospital that experienced this 'virulent hospital germ' situation - well, anyway, I was there when the radiologist DEMANDED a family member was present when he did the X-Ray and ultrasonic imaging.

He complained the doctors didn't believe him and he showed me what the machines were 'seeing.'

I said to him: 'I don't see anything. What am I supposed to be looking at?'

He said: 'There's nothing there, is there?'

'Well I can't see anything.' I told him.

'The doctors want images of kidneys and upper intestines and other organs. But there's nothing there.'

And stupidly, I asked: 'But how is she living?'

And he said: 'I don't know.'

And if I told you the rest of the story you would TOTALLY not believe it and even now you don't I would guess.

LOL

I'm a scientist. And a businessman. I used to have the world's top chartered accountants as my main public company's auditors.

And that's what I tell everyone who knows me in RL and I'm stickin' to that story! (The part about 'the scientist' etc).

But that's the part that's BS. Nothing is so 'set in stone' it can't be changed, and everything is sheer effort of someone's will - yours or someone else's.
