Sorry y’all. I have been busy. Project at work and first week of school. By the time things are calm, well play online or watch TV. Orange is the new black won, yeah sorry.

So, the show, yeah no new information. They went so far away from the truth, such as the facts or the case and the people involved, in order to fit it in some box of like a dream whirlwind romance fail, that it became comical to us. It wasn’t bad, just like it barely resembled the people involved or even the crime. They did actually have a police officer to interview, but only used like 2 sentences, I suspect because he kept sharing facts and evidence, so they had to cut most of it. I will say, they went easy on both. Like they turned him into an underachieving guy who spent 20 years pining for her. And they turned her into an average housewife and mom for the past 20 years with grass is greener syndrome who simply left her current husband. They left out his live in girlfriend of 7 years and the one of 2 years, but nailed the underachiever, though his past is probably not all that relevant as it is completely unremarkable. They left out the brutality and overkill and crazy as fuck details of the murder though, and that was surprising. For her, they left out she wasn’t an actually an active mom as dcfs has her 5 kids because 7 of the past 20 years was spent in prisons across the country. Assault, domestic assault, assault with a weapon, burglary, and armed robbery are some of the highlights. They did briefly mention that should could an in your face type and mentioned she had some issues, but like that describes half the women in the country. Versus the chick is a heavy drug user, who did quite well in one the more difficult florida prisons, and was fleeing to here because she was skipping bail to avoid going back to prison on a new crime. The show went with she was bored so she left, then she arrived and saw that he couldn’t support her in the manner she expected and went on an insulting tirade as she rejected him, at which point he killed her in the living room. (she was killed while they were nude in the front yard) Ok, I get why possibly mean rejection, as that was everyone’s first thought as she could be mean as fuck. Except, number one, reason he is an underachiever, is he just don’t give a fuck, don’t give a fuck sums up his life. Everyone is all “omg, what could she have said” and I don’t think there was anything. Number 2, The evidence doesn’t support their theory of her being killed upon arrival in the house.

Now her past is relevant to many possible theories, thus I found removing it odd. Even the cops found that so interesting, the extensive history versus the completely unremarkable. Personally, I think the criminal history isn’t relevant but the drug use is. My theory was she asked for drugs because she could, he knew enough to have an idea where he could walk and buy some, but instead of buying cocaine, bought cocaine heavily cut with Flakka, which was rampant at the time. At $5 versus $100, both cocaine and mdma was being stomped on with it by shady dealers. Then because he was trying to get in her pants, accepted her offer to join her. And well, we know the delusional ragey crazy of synthetic cathinones is actual a good part of the origins of “florida man”. The bath salts “epidemic” ran from 2011 to 2014, replaced with flakka, which was at its worst at the time of this murder, in the area, and “florida man” was coined in 2013. Don’t get me wrong, the high rate of senility and homeless due to the moderate temperature is a big part of Florida man, but the bizarre behavior brought on by the ever increasing cases of excited delirium brought on by how ravaged the area was by synthetic cathinones played a huge part in the long living “florida man” legend. So yeah, I think all went as expected, hence the voluntary nudity, at then he started screaming in tongues at satanic plants or some shit, she went to bolt, hence getting to the front yard. He caught up, and then we have an overkill shit planned crazy murder nude in the front yard.

Anyway, he was never autopsied. However, they had her body two days before closing the case. I was hoping they had done an autopsy and the show would share it. Alas, they just shared a completely made up story and no evidence, even what was public record.

Now, some things from the show that were memorable. Well, they flew one of our friends to New York and she looked so awesome. Though yeah, her interview wasn’t hers. They only used anything she said that went with their theory and cut and joined a lot, effectively changing what she said, and even made her sound demure and conservative. It was hilarious. Hell, she was even shocked it was her lol. My yard, another friends arm, and my kid’s forehead and hair were on tv a few times (they cropped photographs to remove people and objects best they could, but was recognizable to us). And a decent amount of now ironic audio of my husband was on. They used friend’s voicemail that was still in the system. Friend fell off the face of the planet, from likely when she asked to stay with him until his death. I assume because he didn’t want to tell anyone she was coming, because we’d have been all “dude, what the fuck. yo man, you dumb. That is some hot mess shit you are getting back in to”. Anyway, the messages are like “yo man, just checking to see if you are alive, call me back”. “Yo, are you alright, I am getting worried, call me back” “yo bro, are you dead, seriously, what the ****, call me back”. The dead one was actually the day he died. Also, Not only did no one here know she was coming besides friend, but yeah, no one there knew she was leaving either, until they saw their empty accounts as she wiped out hubby, mom, and sister the day she left . Super surprising was the downplay of the crime. And the thing I least expected that seems so odd, her mother only had good things to say about him, or at least the show made it that. In the end, her statement as to what she thought happened is “they both must have been crazy, out of their minds”. I think she might have the same theory as me, hard to say since they edited out anything that might hint to illegal activity. I think that might have been where she was going though.

So yeah, absolutely zero value, but was worth watching the chick who went to New York for the filming. Overall, it felt like a Twilight Zone episode. So now the count of friends on TV is one naked in a dog collar on Jerry Springer, ex boyfriend and his dad on a who is your baby’s daddy episode of this chick, I will do what a want raver teen, crazy helicopter mom, gay teen, national winner of clean house’s messiest home in the county, naked mud covered hubby at Woodstock 94, my brothers attempt at a dumb ass viral video that got them both arrested for disturbing the peace, friend of an unremarkable murderer, guy standing near an unremarkable murderer, kid’s hair in front of an unremarkable murderer, hubby calling an unremarkable murderer, the unremarkable murderer himself, and my own history as the public access Vanna of the animal shelter. Well fuck. Oh wait, I did have a friend on Chopped. That is normal

Yeah, i have found some people struggle with that though. Probably retired childless men. Lol. I also think maybe because in the past I was very reliable.
