Placing tarrifs on imports is one of the key elements of a controlled economy. Controlled economies are communist/socialist.
Subsidies are only paid to industry for 3 reasons: to lower the price of commodities to the consumer; to prop up a failing industry; to provide protection against foreign competition. Whatever the reason subsidies are another key element of communism/socialism.
The subsidies paid to the American farmers are huge. They are the principle cause of the massive USA deficit which is being propped up by massive loans funded by the Chinese.
Trump is using key elements of a failed controlled economy model that destroyed the nations that adopted it. They will ultimately destroy the USA as well.
USA is less respected in the world than it has been at any time in its history. Trump is openly scorned in every other western nation. Just read a few foreign newspapers. He was almost laughed off the stage when he addressed the United Nations.

It's clear that unless he is impeached, which could happen now that the banks are releasing documents relating to his trading, or dies, he is very old and very obese, he will be with us beyond 2020.
As I've said before, the next 6 years are going to be the best reality tv show ever seen.

Well, it's apparent you don't know what fascism is. When politicians like Maxine Waters excite her constituents to harass and get in the face of conservative politicians, that's fascism. To pickett their homes and threaten to cut their hearts out or follow them into restaurants and threaten them and their families, that's fascism. When ANTIFA riot's in the streets of Seattle and beats up conservative journalist so bad as to hospitalise him, that's fascism. When large media platforms skew political speech, block conservative commentary and feed the general public with only one political view, that's fascism. When Warren conflates the litigated Ferguson police shooting of Micheal Brown where Federal, State and Local investigations found the police officer was innocent of all charges, that's racism. The "hands up don't shoot" narrative which was based on a false narrative but yet propagated by the congressional black caucus which fanned the flames of racism, that's racism in it's purest form.
