I park under the tree outside work. Keeps the car cooler.
I've been taking my boss's dog for lunchtime walkies whilst the boss is away on holiday. For the boss, walkies mean dawdling at a snails pace, whilst the dog lags behind, going from sniff to sniff, pissing every three seconds. For me, walkies is fast enough to get out of puff, with a quick sniff at the, start, the end destination, and another when we get back, and no fart arsing around.
Yesterday I put his lead on, walked to the tree for the first sniff of the walk. Instead of sniffing the tree, the little dog walks straight up to my driver's side door, and stands there, gazing at it, like lassie trying to tell me something important. He's never even been in my car before, but he's considered our usual route and decided it's driving distance rather than walking distance.
Two things I take from this. 1, my walking pace and distance may be a bit much for a small dog who isn't used to it, and 2, the pooch isn't as dumb as he looks. That's a pretty complex bit of thinking there!

My boys would squish him. If they didn't eat him.

He stays with various other staff members on a semi regular basis, because the business involves a lot of travel for some people, and he's a totally different dog when he does. The boss isn't dominant in any way, so the dog is hyped and aggressive in his charge, because it feels like it has to babysit him. With anyone else, it's a really chilled out pup.

The big mutt showed elevated liver enzymes in her last blood test. She’s been on Deramaxx. One of the side effects from Deramaxx is just that. The mutt should have been tested prior to this medication being prescribed. We also should have been warned of the possible side effects. Instead, our vet said bring her back for an X-ray, and here is a refill for your Deramaxx. To say I am not pleased with our vet right now is an understatement.
