Woodfield Mall in Schaumberg, IL. at the time in the late 80's it was the largest mall under one roof in the country (before Mall of America)

The Catacombs are the area behind the stores where they can deal with their trash, take deliveries, go to and from the stores without walking through the customer area of the mall. So public access but behind the stores so it was mostly employees.
