With Hermaphrodites the options are there for going many ways.

Anyone have any idea what category it might go in?

I knew an actual hermaphrodite once. She was one of the most fun people I've ever known, but she got drunk enough at a party one night to start showing off her "dick." A lot of people were nervous about her after that, and she disappeared from my life.

I don't know where you're going with the hermaphrodite concept. I think that might determine the category.

Yes. I can't really think of an appropriate category.

It SHOULD be able to go into EC in our current enlightened era, but of course no. I think the tags will matter more here than the category, truth to tell.

Fetish? Though that's wrong too, and even offensive in the real world. But in Lit-speak, it might be a possibility.

I've never met one so I'm totally winging it with the help of research, which is rather spotty to tell the truth.

It's kind of a first time thing. She (the Hermaphrodite) has kept things a secret. She has led a sheltered life by her mother who is also a Hermaphrodite. In a capsule, she had a guy friend next door. During a storm one afternoon, she opens up to him and tells him about her "Problem." There is not much in the way of sex, just their interaction.

My take on how you would tell someone you are friends with that you have tits, a pussy, and a dick. What would his reaction be and what would yours be the first time you are kissed seriously. She has a couple of accidents sitting in his lap and he has one. They both still have their shorts on. Afterwards they take a shower together.

Romance? Yes but I think not. First time, Yes but then again... EC, yes but it would or might take big hits because of the two dick situation. Maybe I should let Laurel decide on the category. She's pretty good at those decisions.

An hermaphrodite's "dick" isn't really a dick. They pee like any other girl, but they have an extended clitoris.

Where on Lit do you put reality? If you wrote her as a typical fantasy futa then the story could probably go to non-human or SF&F. If you wrote her as a real person then there are more mainstream possibilities. Maybe depending on Laurel's judgement isn't a bad thing.

I've learned so much about archaeologified porn. That Turin papyrus indeed looks like something off Tumblr (though not anymore).

"On my third triple espresso, and finally beginning to feel somewhat human. As much as I ever do, anyway."
Ha!

"I never did all-nighters in college. Not for studies anyway."
Classic Tx, even while sick. Hope you feel better!

Have you considered Transgender & Crossdressers? I know she's not technically transgender, but with the slightly blurry line between genders it might fit in there, perhaps. Else it might be an idea to see which category has more futanari stories and put it there, as those are also somewhat similar.

I once drank about two thirds of a bottle of coke; I was about 13 at the time. Never drank Pepsi or Dr Pepper. But have made up for it with almost continuous consumption of tea (Sri Lankan black mostly) and regular coffee - at least 2 mugs per day.

To my mind, tea is necessary to support life, while coffee is an essential pleasure. :)

Given the right Tea blend, I'd agree with you.
For some gen on Tea, look here.
We never had the 'presence of ''Coke' in our young lives when I was a kid in rural England, so the choice of glass of pop was a tad limited. I remember the Corona lorry though.

I used to drink coke but the acid in it almost killed me. I switched to Dr Pepper and occasionally root beer. Then they diagnosed the diabetes and I went to diet. Diet Dr Pepper is the lesser of the evils.

Tea is good but the caffeine in it effects me more than the caffeine in coffee. Strong tea gives me the jitters.

Fresh coffee for the evening crew.

You have my sympathy.
It seems you have limited access to some of the teas available.

Sorry, folks, but I am thoroughly confused.
I always thought that a Hermaphrodite is a human with both tab & slot, so to speak. The modern twist of this or that is very confusing.
Trans-gender (in transit from one gender to another ?) is an easier concept (there's a very tender story about it somewhere; I cannot remember the title, but it ends up with her last operation and his passion.

And now I desperately need a coffee.

My coffee background is very limited, for which I've always been grateful. Millennials might be surprised to hear it, but before 2000 or so specialty coffees weren't all that normal in large swaths of the US, and modern kids who get hooked on "coffee" that isn't really proper coffee are bound to be disappointed once the world runs out of French hazelnut syrup.

...

I associate coffee with trams in Croydon.

Why?

The tram stop to go back home after shopping in Croydon was outside an Importers' shop. That was the only place in the late 1940s for specialist teas and coffees and the outlet for the coffee roasting oven was right by the tram stop.

The smell of roasting coffee drifted over the whole queue, most of whom couldn't afford 'real' coffee and went home to a revolting brew of Camp from a bottle...

In Weston-super-Mare where I lived in the early 1950s there was a shop on the high street of similar work. The hot coffee smell got blown around (I guess it was free advertising).
And as for that ghastly Camp (chicory ?) stuff, I hated it.

Weston-on-the-mud was where I had my singular acquaintance with Coca Cola. We were waiting for a boat to take us on a 3 day camping trip to SteepHolm We were told to wear a hat; we soon found out why, it rained gull poop all day from the 50,000 birds nesting on the island. :)

No coffee thanks. It’s nearly midnight at the oasis. Just stopped by to leave a message for Chloe. You PM box is full, which I believe is a common problem for women on Lit.

Thanks for the ok. It’s only a bit part - just a couple of paragraphs, but I think essential to the story.

Cheers

Did you ever go to Flatholm ?
The Fog Horn was a real blower !

I did some washing last night, and in the dawn dimness, put three shirts on the line to dry.
It's rained all day !

Any coffee left please?

Yesterday I felt pretty good. Today, I feel like crap. My head feels like it is stuffed with cotton and there is a pressure headache behind my eyes. It's 94 outside and 78 inside and I feel chilled. I think, back to bed for myself.

I'll make evening coffee before I head out.

You might want to dose yours a bit. Add enough spirits and you might not feel better - but you won’t care as much.

A couple of Asprin and a hot drink, perhaps ?
Fingers Crossed

They blacktopped the parking lot today so it stinks out there. I left the AC on even though they forecast lows around 60. Hopefully the smell isn't as bad tomorrow.

Monsoon season has finally hit this area. Very light rain so far, but it is supposed to rain off and on for the next 18 hours. We need every drop we can get. Better is that the temps are supposed to be in the 70s after more than a month of high 80s/90s temps. I can feel the entire area giving a deep sigh of relief! :D

I just can’t.

Day Three of a heatwave. 83 degrees with a dew point of 69 before 7 am.

Hot coffee? I just can’t.

Hey, Tex - feeling any better?

<<Puts pot on.>>

Pot? How about the coffee?:D

Makes coffee and heats kettle.

I'm better but I'm way behind on sleep. I wasn't sleepy come midnight and went on a writing binge. I added to three or four stories. Sooner or later, I'll finish one of them.

We had the monsoon moisture here last week and it rained on three consecutive days. But it didn't really cool us off very much. We're still above 90F every afternoon.

I just retuned from a rejuvenating vacation back home in Maine. Of course, we picked the hottest two weeks in state history...

I hope everyone is doing well.

I wrote my ass off while I was traveling. Now I have no ass, but all or large parts of my next three submissions written.
