Story Moved to Back of Line

I posted a story on Monday, July 22 in Romance. All week it's been listed with that date on my Pending page. Until today. Now it's as if I posted it at 11 this morning; right now it says "9 hours ago." I've never had a problem with a prior story, nor was this one sent back to me.

Has this happened to anyone? I DMed Lit about it on Twitter. Nothing heard yet.

Thanks. In the past it would show the to-be-published date the day before, e.g., July 29, 2019. That's why I wondered.

The midnight drop came and went. Now it's shown as having been submitted 19 hours ago.

I've noticed that happening from time to time. I think it happens whenever someone reads it, but I don't think it affects position in queue. I'm not sure, but I think it happens more often with stories that end up getting rejected or edited.

Looks like it's been taken care of. It now has a publication date.

Of course, the problem is not helped by different time zones.

We should just have one big time zone. If those in Oz can deal with Christmas being 90 degrees (32.22222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222222... for those who dislike math) they can certainly deal with the sun coming up at 7:30 PM.

Once I submit, I don’t touch the sucker until it posts.

Once it was submitted, I did nothing with it. It had been an earlier draft left in the "draft" folder but once I posted it, I didn't touch it.
