I am not quite sure how this would work either but willing to find out.
If you're going to do something like give out her Skype/Kik information to see if she responds to sexual overtures from random guys, that seems pretty horrible and unethical. I'm not sure how you could do something so duplicitous to a "friend."

I do agree with you. She is very vague in her post, you have know idea how she will go about this, and maybe that is what she is asking. If it comes to the point where she is posting personal things about her friend or anyone that can hurt them without their approval yeah a dick move.

I don't see where the OP actually offered to hook her unsuspecting friend up with a guy. Some may read it differently but I just see this as another fantasy thread just like almost everything else on Lit. People have all kinds of kinks and fantasies that they want to play out. I've been trying for years to wrap my brain around how to accept that someone's "fantasy", does not necessarily define them.
I pretty much failed miserably because, tbh, if you're into certain things, or need a "safe zone" to play out your fantasies, chances are good we wouldn't get along anyway.
Here's hoping this is just an "outing " scenario and the OP wouldn't actually betray a friend's trust in this manner.

I admit when I first saw this post I had thoughts that this was just a fantasy roleplay thing and not an actual real life thing so I ignored it. But now I'm having serious doubts and concerns and questions....
1) what exactly are your requirements for determining if someone is trustworthy enough to out your friend? Seriously? It seems even you aren't trustworthy enough for her to feel comfortable with openly expressing her desires, so I have to wonder if you have the ability to gauge someone else's trustworthiness.
2) Why is her sexual desires any of your business? If she has not talked to you about it or asked you to become involved then obviously she doesn't want you to know. So why are you pushing it?
3) As a member of groups where discretion is highly prized in friends, you are being a really crappy friend by outing her. Even if you trust this new stranger you have vetted (which let me refer to question #1) this is not about your sexual desires and whether you trust someone, it's about her comfort level.
In the end, if you really really want to know this (which again I have to ask why), just try being a good friend and creating a space where she feels comfortable talking to you. Instead of trying to trick her into revealing it.
