I watched the first part of Trump's NC rally earlier (up until the local politics kicked in) and I took notice of something. His presentation is as if he's having a conversation with the crowd. He interacts with them on almost a personal level. OK, so that's where the connection is?

So I dug up some speeches by past presidents on YouTube and for the most part they talked at the crowd, lectured as it were. Obama and both the Bush's were horrible at that as was Nixon and LBJ. Kennedy wasn't too bad at it. And it's kind of a toss up between Clinton and Reagan as to who comes in second.

And I think it's that connection that Trump is making that the democrats are missing and why they haven't been able to make a dent in his base. None of the democrat candidates have exhibited that knack either.

They don’t know how to beat Trump pure and simple. Everyone of the candidates are a fucking idiot running with basically the same message. They’d be better off begging him to withdraw from running for re-election in 2020.

"Everyone" are a fucking idiot. What to go, Kuntarri!

A lot better than the impeachment is coming along.

His connection is to the morons like you..

Garbage like this is fine on here, but not on the world stage where cheetolini plays.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The President was accused of racism after saying the four women, three of whom were born in the US and all of whom are US citizens, should ‘go back’ to their countries.

In his latest barb, Mr Trump suggested that Ilhan Omar had married her brother and should possibly be investigated.

Responding to a question from Fox News, he said: “Well, there’s a lot of talk about the fact that she was married to her brother.

“I know nothing about it, I hear she was married to her brother, you’re asking me a question about it. I don’t know, but I’m sure that somebody would be looking at that.”

He just poked fun at half his base.. The inbreds of the south.

Oh, NOES!

The "World Stage" you say? Sounds very important.

Trump talks WITH the American people using words and mannerisms they understand and are used to hearing every day.

The conversations always center around topics that everyday Americans are concerned about. Things like jobs, the economy, law and order, taxes, personal satisfaction, and so on.

Pie in the sky ideas are fine, but you can't build a successful national platform only around unfocused dreams of nirvana. You need something concrete. Something the people can get behind. Trump delivers what he promises and the promises are made in plain English.

He should at least do some research on the things he dismisses. Not saying it's true, but there have been allegations and I believe someone is actually investigating whether it is in fact true.

I don't disagree. He is a showman and directly engages his audience.

His delivery isn't the problem. It's the message. And the sycophantic boot lickers chanting bullshit like "lock her up" and "send her back". His audience, his fans, are very close to being a mob. And he eats it up.

The original justification for reducing the rights of Americans (DHS) after 9/11 was based on the traditional "you're either with us or you're against us" rationale used by Presidents in the past.

Americans respond well to calls for Unity Against the "Foreign Enemy".

Trump has Americans thinking that way thanks to a series of puffed up (or non-existent) threats to the Republic, turning it to political advantage.

Now you have crowds of 50,000 Trump Voting American Citizens a night chanting "send them back".

That's slicker than Slick Willie or Trick Dick combined.

The issue here is that you don't understand the message at all. That's on you, not Trump's supporters.

The kind of mob that would attack contract employees doing their jobs?

The kind that would write a manifesto and show up with molotov cocktails and an AR-15 to attempt to kill guards and illegal immigrants by exploding a propane tank?

The kind that would attack a journalist filming them and beat him till he develops a brain bleed?

That sort of mob?

No, the secret to his success with his crowds is that he talks in bullet points. He can't manage to speak to complex issues and that works for his crowd as they can only handle being spoon fed.

WORLD STAGE?

Is that like GLOBAL TEST that tanked John FAG Kerry in 2004?

:D

140 characters or less is the new filibuster buster.

Ah yes the many nuances of mob mentality. Tinged with a great deal of schadenfreude. If I am guilty of not giving them enough credit, you are guilty of giving them too much.

Guffaw!

"What" to go, Kato.

Snicker.

Speaking of concrete and Trump delivering on his promises, how is "Mexico will pay for the wall" coming along?

The message is clear. The people of the valley must defeat the mountain people to obtain the treasured stone. And they’ll be mightily disappointed to find that “Peace on Earth” is all it says.
